This training gives an opportunity to focus on how to embed effective approaches to meeting emotional needs in schools. We explore a range of ways into meeting emotional needs of pupils across a school. We focus on including pupils with extreme emotional needs. We explore how to make these materials really come to life as we explore a range of ways into meeting emotional needs of pupils across a school. We focus on including pupils with extreme emotional needs. There are lots of opportunities for personal and professional reflection on engagement with challenging pupils as we provide processes to support reflection, visioning and problem solving. All practitioners who are leading on Mental Health work in schools or on behalf of a Local Authority Full range of agencies committed to meeting social and emotional needs in schools Course Content The training explores the questions: What would a school look like when Mental Health was truly part of everything that was happening, a shared vision? How can we truly embed Mental Health approaches and materials in our school? What can we do to meet complex and challenging emotional needs in schools? Can we learn a process to understand at a deeper level highly complex social and emotional needs? This training will cover: Bringing positive Mental Health approaches to life in schools: creating a shared vision and a set of grounded goals together Circle of Adults process for self-reflection and understanding emotional needs of high profile pupils. Our Pre-School was opened in September 2013 and extended in 2017 to accommodate 30 hours funding. The building was purpose built and designed to ensure that we provide a happy and nurturing environment where children can learn through play whilst having lots of fun. We treat each child as an individual who has needs that should be met in an atmosphere that celebrates diversity. We will nurture your child’s social and emotional needs. We want children, parents and staff to learn together and for all to develop to their maximum potential. Our aim is to provide the first steps of learning for our youngest children. We want to work in partnership with families to provide high quality education which is fun, creative and motivating. Our website is designed to share as much as we can with you. If you wish to have a look round or require any further information please don’t hesitate to contact us via The Hall School Office. We receive Nursery Education Funding (FEEE) for 3 and 4 year olds. This means that the term after a child is 3 he/she will be entitled to between 15-30 hours free sessions per week for 38 weeks per year. The Pre-School is closed during the school holidays. Our Pre-School is registered and inspected by Ofsted. We are registered to take 60 children at each session and we offer lunch time cover too. We are more than happy to discuss eligibility. Please contact The Hall School office for further information. Applications are accepted from April for the next academic year and are available on our website and via the school office. Our Policies and Procedures help us to make sure the service we provide is a high quality one. Our aim is to make the experience for each child and their family enjoyable and beneficial.

Giving is part of the fabric of our community at TSP and what makes our school so special. Our staff give their time and expertise to create a memorable education for our children, and the children give so much energy and enthusiasm to their work. We would also like to invite members of the wider TSP community to give time, talent or treasure, however they can, in support of our school to make a direct difference to our children’s lives. Recent projects that have been supported / funded include: · Contributing to the refurbishment of the Hall through purchasing a new projector and speakers · Improving year 3 and 4 classrooms · Sourcing new ICT equipment · Extra workshops to further enhance the school’s curriculum The school’s current focus is on: · enhancing the Year 1 playground area. This small, contained area is very tired and in need of some improvements to create a stimulating, engaging space for play. Your contributions will make a difference every day for the children who pass through year 1 each year. · improving the Key Stage 1 playground which is a thoroughfare for the school and is also used as the play area for Clubhouse, our wrap around care service. · Following the refurbishment of the school hall which has improved central space for the children to use throughout the day, to now also upgrade the sound and lighting equipment which would further enhance our school performances and workshops. We aim to raise a minimum of £5,000 each academic year to support projects such as these – the more we can raise, the sooner our children can benefit.
