He is particularly focused on the developmental and educational implications of multilingual environments for both typically developing children and those with neurodivergent profiles. He investigates how multilingualism across the lifespan can confer cognitive and metacognitive benefits, aiming to uncover potential advantages for lifelong learners. Additionally, he has multiple publications in high-impact journals, has edited online collections on multilingualism and established valuable international collaborations in the field.
