This is a part-time 3 months level-1 Foundation course in TCM and acupuncture. The course is designed to serve as a theoretical foundation for students with an interest in Oriental medicine and acupuncture or students who wish to deepen their TCM and acupuncture knowledge. The course also serves as a preparation module for students on practitioner- level courses in TCM, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Orthopedic acupuncture, Tui Na and Acupressure massage.

This course will equip non-registrants to allocate patients safely into face to face or telephone appointments, with an appropriate practitioner or service. The course will also equip non-registered staff to question for, recognise and allocate patients with urgent health needs.

The Reiki Master Teacher training is usually undertaken by students for whom Reiki is now a way of life and who feel ready to become Reiki teachers themselves. You will learn how to organize and run Reiki training, manuals, and some essential business skills.

Throughout the week, students practise and demonstrate a broad range of practical therapeutic skills under close supervision and rigorous on-going assessment by the two tutors and experienced facilitators. Between Part 2 and Part 3 of the Diploma students are expected to carry out extensive therapeutic practice, with a minimum of 10 different people, under ongoing supervision.
