(9-10yrs) Ballet develops posture, strength, musicality and grace. Each dancer is unique and each body is unique and we teach the children to work within ones own body. Our Ballet classes include some set structured technical work from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance syllabus, along with some creative movement. All children have the opportunity to take ISTD Ballet exams when they are ready to be entered. TRIAL BOOKINGS: Of course you are welcome to watch the trial class but following the trial, WhizzDancers are expected to be independent in the room. TERM BOOKINGS: You are welcome to watch the first class but following this your WhizzDancer will be expected to go in the class independently. You will be expected to provide full uniform. Details will be sent following. We have lots of opportunities ahead for your WhizzDancer including exams and shows. Using a range of music from the latest pop songs to great musical theatre songs (old and new!) JazzPops offers a range of dance throughout the term with a dash of some musical games. We also sneak in some dance technique from the ISTD Modern Theatre Syllabus. But don't tell the children that, they are having too much fun! BalletDots is for pre-schoolers (3yrs+). Course Overview This qualification provides learners with the essential knowledge and skills required by those who wish to pursue a career in the Health and Fitness industry. Level: 2 Duration: 1 year full-time Awarding Awarding Body: ACTIVE IQ Course Fees: Free Example Units and Structure Personal training with clients How the body works Developing self in an active leisure role How to Adopt a Healthy Lifestyle Understanding the active leisure and learning sector Anatomy and Physiology for exercise and health Entry Requirements 4 Grade 3s or above at GCSE, with at least a Grade 2 (at GCSE) or Level 1 functional skills in English and Maths. Demonstrate an understanding of sports at Level 1 standard. Learners must have a level of physical fitness that enables them to meet the physical assessments of the course.

Transformers Themed Activity Day at Derbyshire Hill Family & Community Centre for children and teens aged 7+ Come and join us for an exciting HAF Activity themed around Transformers which includes graffiti art, djing, parkour, obstacle courses and games with our talented team from Powered by Hip Hop (UC Crew) Children aged 7+ and parents/carers/grandparents who are eligible for free HAF activities are all welcome to join us for our FREE funded activity day.

Throughout the summer we're offering members access to St Elmo's rehearsal space free of charge. You can book this just for yourself, but ideally you'll find some fellow students to jam with. Slots are for an hour but you can book 2 slots in a row where there is availability. There is only space for one person to book, so only 1 person from the party needs to reserve it.  Each members can book up to 3 hours per week
