Practical Workshop

A mandala is basically a circle that becomes this beautiful container to hold all your ideas and emotions. We're gonna kick off our workshop together with this really relaxing meditation – complete with crystals and incense – to quiet that busy mind and find the right focus and concentration you need to create your mandala. Once you're feeling ready and calm, you'll create your own personal mandala using different beans, letting your imagination run wild. (we'll glue them on paper) While you're working, I'll be sharing the history, process, and meaning behind mandalas in a super easy way – we'll explore everything from how they show up in nature to their role in religion and art. I'll show you some incredible pictures of mandalas from around the world that'll blow your mind. When your wonderful work is done, I'll guide you through a creative visualization to reconnect with your inner center. Then here's the beautiful part – you'll choose 3 beans from your mandala and plant them with some cotton and water by your window at home. You get to watch them germinate and grow, and they'll become your new seeds for the coming months. It's this amazing cycle – from creating your mandala circle to planting actual seeds that will grow into new life. Your inner work becomes outer growth, literally. City & Guilds 2392 10 level 2 is a short course aimed at newcomers to inspection and testing of electrical installations, and also the logical route towards 2391-50, 2391-51, or 2391-52. City & Guilds 2392 10 level 2 Certification is achieved on successful completion of both the practical assessment and PC based examination. A four day course for a student possessing a working knowledge of the wiring regulations, to the level of City and Guilds 2382. We strongly recommend City and Guilds 2382 is achieved prior to sitting this City & Guilds 2392 10 level 2 course, though this is NOT an entry requirement. The City & Guilds 2392 10 level 2 exam is a PC based multiple choice examination has 50 questions, is 1 hour 40 mins long and is closed book, with instant result. To further support this City & Guilds 2392 10 level 2 course, we offer a 1 day practical workshop available to candidates who have completed the course and require further ‘hands on’ practical experience prior to their practical examination. Most students who take this option, elect to complete this the day before their practical assessment. The practical assessment takes approximately 2 hours, this can, if available, be taken on the day following the on-line examination or at a later date at a time which is mutually convenient to both student and centre. A five day Refrigeration Electrics Maintenance course aimed at anyone involved with refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump electrical control systems. The Refrigeration Electrics Maintenance course covers the three elements which are common to most refrigeration and air conditioning systems, namely, protection, control and motors. For example, a typical air conditioning split system will have protection provided by the fuse in the fused connection unit, and further protection provided to the cable feeding the fused connection unit, probably by a circuit breaker, control provided by thermostat and time clock etc… and motor driven fans and compressor. During the Refrigeration Electrics Maintenance course emphasis is also placed upon the applicable wiring regulations to ensure the constructed system is compliant with BS7671:2018 The aim of the Refrigeration Electrics Maintenance course is to provide enough knowledge to allow maintenance and fault finding to be safely and effectively carried out. SAFE ISOLATION, ELECTRICAL SAFETY & ELECTRICAL CONCEPTSThe Essential Electrics course is for engineers who need to work on electrical systems, but may not have any formal qualifications to do so. Essential Electrics is the perfect course for engineers who need to comply with the Electricity at Work Act of 1989.The Essential Electrics course covers the safe isolation of equipment, using test equipment and testing repairs prior to energising.Candidates will need to demonstrate that they can undertake simple wiring tasks such as safe isolations, basic wiring and testing repairs.

Our intensive 10, 15 or 20 day Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses have been structured to meet the ever increasing demands on industry to meet safety, environmental and legal requirements regarding installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of both refrigeration and air conditioning systems including the electrical aspects of installation dependent upon course selection. The first 10 days of the Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training course are mechanical only, the following 5 or 10 days are the electrical aspects, depending on which route you need to go down. The Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are accredited with the City & Guilds 2079, BESA Pipework and Brazing – (commercial), along with an EAL Unit* – Maintenance of Refrigeration Systems from the EAL Certificate in Engineering Technology (QCF) qualification. (*Practical elements will be covered during the course with a Project booklet to be completed by the student with an element of self-study after the course completion for us to claim the Unit certification from EAL). Our Total Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training courses are designed to be as practical as they possibly can be, with workshop time taking more than 70% of the course. The F Gas Regulations course will suit any person who requires the minimum legal requirement to work on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including air conditioning and refrigeration engineers and technicians, all plant engineers, apprentices, personnel concerned with the recovery, charging or disposal of refrigerants and new comers into the industry. F Gas Regulations training courses are designed for both experienced air-conditioning and refrigeration engineers and also candidates who are looking to cross train and gain qualifications in the air conditioning / refrigeration sector. This F Gas Regulations qualification is to meet the legal requirements of EC Regulation 842/2006 (commonly known as the F Gas Regulation). The Certification Schemes are designed for operatives who install, service and repair refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems, and require the following skills: Safe handling of refrigerant techniques Pipework and Jointing skills Recovery of Refrigerants (restricted to small systems only) Intrusive and non-intrusive leak and performance checking Category 1 covers all aspects of installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, recovery and leak checking on all refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation EC842/2006, regardless of the weight of refrigerant in the system. Course subjects are: Pressure test and discharge to BSEN378 Charge a blended refrigerant Evaluate system performance to ensure competence (using rule of thumb, temperature, refrigerant state and pressure) Leak test to EC1516/2007 Fabricate and fit brazed and mechanical joints Uphold F-Gas records and log books. Handle refrigerant safely and dispose of rightfully Pressure Regulation compliance All candidates will be able to ensure systems are tight, efficient in their use of energy and meet the F-Gas legal requirement.
