Phoenix Pottery and Art Studio offer a variety of art, craft and pottery classes. We are beyond excited about our first-ever Arienas Collective exhibition! The exhibition is taking place in the Scot-ART Gallery 1 on the 3rd floor of St Margaret’s House, 151 London Road, Edinburgh EH7 6AE from Saturday, 24 - Saturday, 31 May 2025 and is open from 11am-5pm each day. The exhibition is free to enter and you can find out more about our theme, who will be exhibiting, and opportunities to meet our creatives in person here. We will be exploring how creatives balance making art they love with art they earn a living from. The exhibition will feature original artworks, alongside live demonstrations, taster workshops and talks. You can see a full list of our Exhibition Talks and Tasters here. This is where to book spaces for a Lino printing Talk & Demo with artist Suzanne Kemplay Come and watch Suzanne demonstrate how to make a lino print. She will show you how to draw out a design, use the cutting tools, ink up through to final printing.

Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competences needed to deal with a wide range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more. Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, this fantastic qualification is perfect for a range of roles in emergency care, such as: Ambulance Care Assistant (PTS), Community First Responder or Event First Responder and more. Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of training. There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy or equivalent and a basic understanding of first aid. This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment. It is ideal for those looking to progress their careers within the emergency services, ambulance services, healthcare settings and supports specialist medical roles within law enforcement and security, energy and utilities, construction and military. 

Come along for some outdoor fun on Thursday 29th May at 10 am at Step Out Forest School - Evegate. Please make sure all people attending have old/waterproof clothing and wellies for playing in the mud and stream! Remember your drinks and snacks as well! NOTE - This session is being run on behalf of Includes Us Too but we will NOT have staff present on the day. A member of the Step Out team will be at the meeting point in the car park on the day and their mobile number will be sent over before the event.

Eliza Allen a local author will be joining us to read her book One Branch at a Time followed by a session with The Yoga Man! Join us from 1 - 2.30 at the Rainbow Centre, Great Chart Bypass, Ashford TN23 4RR There will be craft and book related activities to do as well! This session is suitable for primary aged children.
