At Hobbs House Bakery we believe there are some things you can't rush. All our
bread and confectionery is made by hand with true care and attention, many using
'overnight' fermentation for a deeper flavour and a better rise. Our
not-so-secret weapon is our 67 year old Sourdough Starter which we've been
nourishing with flour and water every day for all of these years. In return our
little Starter has helped us create countless true sourdough loaves and been
shared with home bakers all over the country.
