I'm a professional photographer with years of experience in front of, and behind the camera. Passionate about both photography and sharing Edinburgh and it's hidden gems. Having trained and worked professionally in film and television first as an actor and later as a camera operator, I found a love for stills photography and love to pass it on! For a unique take on the city, come on an adventure and I will show you the best viewpoints in the city so that we can experience things from a locals point of view and come away with the best images and a better understanding of how to use your camera. Maria Falconer is a professional photographer and part time lecturer in Photography at De Montfort University.  She also runs online and live workshops with her partner Paul Hill in the UK and Europe. She holds an MA in Photography, is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and has exhibited in the UK, France, Belgium, Ireland, South East Asia and the US. Rich Dyson, LRPS is a professional PR & press photographer in Edinburgh who also has a passion for landscape photography. He is regularly published in a variety of national newspapers including The Times, Daily Telegraph and Guardian. He has also been exhibited numerous times in venues throughout Scotland including The Scottish Parliament. His friendly and welcoming approach to teaching is extremely popular with clients from absolute beginners through to seasoned photographers. Each of the photography lessons is designed in such a way that the fundamentals are explained in simple language and then placed into context through practical application. Our photography courses conclude with a review of the images taken to ensure that all the principles have been embedded so that the attendee leaves with a good understanding of the subject matter. Rich can tailor an individual photography lesson to your needs. Matt is a landscape photographer and has been running tours and workshops all over Scotland for the past 5 years. He has great knowledge of locations as well as the technical knowledge required to create compelling images. He has been a portrait and wedding photographer for about 8 years and also provides 1 to 1 and group lessons in both. Online retouching lessons are available via Zoom or similar. Matt has both public liability and professional indemnity insurance together with a disclosure Scotland certificate.
