Most training centres would expect that you have this qualification when teaching in the FE and HE sectors or working towards it. The awarding body of this course is Focus Awards which UK Ofqual fully accredits. This level 5 teaching qualification is delivered 100% online as a distance learning programme. Though no prior qualifications or experience are required to start this teaching qualification, you will still need access to learners to meet this course&rsquo;s practical requirements. Our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training course can take as little as two months or 12 months, depending on your previous experience and dedication to the study. This teaching qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly. &nbsp;</p>
<h4 align="left"><strong>Assessment and Verification</strong></h4>
<p>All units within this course are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor once you&rsquo;re enrolled on our online portal. Practical requirements of this course include 100 hours of logged practise in teachers&rsquo; training and at least eight observations (each of one hour), which can be satisfied either through recording your teaching sessions or having your assessor observe you (which will be done virtually via video call).</p>

In addition, some of the tasks would require submitting relevant work such as study resources that you prepared for your learners, lesson plans, scheme of work, ILPs, etc. Lastly, of course, eight of your teaching sessions, an hour-long each, will be observed by your assessor.</p>

As well as working with children, Virginia has also supported teaching colleagues, including middle leaders in education, with their wellbeing. She has a particular interest in developing Young Leaders and enjoys working with women who are also small business owners. Virginia’s background is in the Performing Arts, which included many years of teaching dance in education in primary and secondary schools in Dubai. This has given her a unique skill set in terms of working collaboratively and instinctively in a coaching style, knowledge and skills which have been built on and refined through a series of ILM qualifications. As well as working with children, Virginia has also supported teaching colleagues, including middle leaders in education, with their wellbeing. She has a particular interest in developing Young Leaders and enjoys working with women who are also small business owners.
