Each month we&#39;ll be discussing one key and influential player and breaking that what makes that individuals playing so special. They&#39;ll be exercises, bass chats, jams.&nbsp;</p><p fr-original-style="" style="color: var(--text); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;">This is not described as a course because each session is a stand alone one hour mini event. However, we do expect you&#39;ll learn some awesome stuff, so if you wish to view it as a course, we&#39;re happy with that :)&nbsp;</p>

About Ben Gibson: Ben Gibson is the Postgraduate Course Leader here at CFS, as well as a producer and consultant. He’s recently worked with Ecole Louis Lumiere, Paris and Studios La Victorine, Nice and on projects with Raoul Peck (Director of, I Am Not Your Negro). In the past Ben has worked as an independent producer and Head of Production at the British Film Institute. He has also co-managed The Other Cinema/Metro Pictures, operating London’s Metro Cinema. As well as this, he has been on-stage host for the Berlinale, a dramaturg, a theatre director, a repertory film programmer, a film critic and a journalist.

Overview
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (L5 DET), formerly known as Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), is an industry-standard qualification for those teaching in the post-16 sector. It is based on structures recognised by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), a government-approved body for the further education and skills sector. Most training centres would expect that you have this qualification when teaching in the FE and HE sectors or working towards it. This qualification also allows you to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status enabling you to become a teacher in state schools in the UK (teaching ages 14+). The awarding body of this course is Focus Awards which UK Ofqual fully accredits. This level 5 teaching qualification is delivered 100% online as a distance learning programme. Though no prior qualifications or experience are required to start this teaching qualification, you will still need access to learners to meet this course’s practical requirements. This course will assist your dual professionalism and upgrade your teaching qualification regardless of your subject expertise – whether you teach music or coach people.

With this teacher training qualification, you can teach in diverse fields such as the Culinary Arts, Engineering, Music Teaching, Performing Arts, Driving Instruction, Hospitality & Catering, NHS training, Personal Services, Teacher’s Training, Freelance Teaching and Training, and many more industries.
Duration and Delivery
This Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you. Our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training course can take as little as two months or 12 months, depending on your previous experience and dedication to the study. This teaching qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Our online tutor support is there to facilitate you to achieve your success rate accordingly. 
Assessment and Verification
All units within this course are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor once you’re enrolled on our online portal. Practical requirements of this course include 100 hours of logged practise in teachers’ training and at least eight observations (each of one hour), which can be satisfied either through recording your teaching sessions or having your assessor observe you (which will be done virtually via video call).
Progression
Successful completion of this qualification enables you to enhance your career profile and apply for QTLS status. For example, you can be employed as a state school teacher in the 14+ sector (for GCSE and A-Level students).

She was a board member with responsibilities for 65% of a multidisciplinary and trans-cultural workforce which included senior clinical & non clinical managers, team leaders and staff.
She was responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring management capacity and capability, to monitor and manage performance.
