Whether your child wants to explore performing arts as a hobby or as a potential career choice, we have a range of different training and classes to suit their needs. We have a number of different programmes and classes to inspire them to achieve their potential. All of our staff are highly experienced and qualified in the Performing Arts, and are passionate about providing LBA students with the most current, effective training in dance, singing and drama. We are one big family at LBA, and are here to support our students at every hop, skip and leap of their journey with us.

Either way, we have a programme to suit each. Auditions for our newest Elite Training Programme are coming soon! At BSPA we will now offer two programmes - our Elite Musical Theatre Programme and our BSPA Originals Programme. Since BSPA was established 10 years ago, we have seen a number of our students continue on to careers in this business. The Elite Programme is our newest and most exciting venture - offering extreme intensive training and preparation for a long lasting career in the arts. Miss Bethany started dancing at the age of 3. She has taught and choreographed for many other dance and gymnastics display teams and has attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance through Northumbria University. She studied in professional training at Edinburghs, ‘Dance For All’ and ‘Performing Arts Studio Scotland.’ Miss Bethany is now an RAD registered teacher, as well as holding qualifications for Acrobatic Arts, IDTA and ISTD. She is also launching BWDW’s brand new adult Ballet classes and our parent & toddler classes: Moving with My Mini.

From providing affordable part-time performing arts training for children and young people throughout the UK, to giving them access to some of the most talented performers through specialist workshops and classes, Razzamataz Edinburgh uses theatre arts within small class sizes to nurture a child’s confidence and self-esteem, all while making sure they are having a lot of fun. Come and join the Razzamataz family to experience a range of styles from classic West End musical theatre to funky street dance and pop singing. There are always lots of opportunities to perform for both boys and girls, from local theatres and festivals to the glittering lights of London’s West End stage.

The MGA Academy of Performing Arts hosts Fierce Theatre Schools Edinburgh on Tuesdays and Saturdays. With a consistent and dedicated programme of classes and workshops in Acting, Singing and Dance for students in S1 to S6, Fierce provides a realistic picture of what it’s like to be a performer in the industry. Fierce Theatre School Edinburgh currently use MGA’s Balgreen Road building as training venue. Students attend two sessions each week, one on a Tuesday evening and one during the day on a Saturday. My name is Tricia and I am a professional hula hoop performer, working throughout Scotland. In addition to performing, I am a certified HoopLove Coach and I’m super excited to be bringing classes to West Lothian! With a background in the arts, I hold an M/A Hons in Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow. I have worked as a performing cabaret artist for over a decade, as well as teaching hen party dance classes. I am a registered and insured member of Equity (Performing Arts Union). WHY HULA HOOPING? Hula hooping is fun but challenging; it makes you work outside your comfort zone and pushes you to learn new things. It puts you in touch with your body and your own natural movements, helping you connect your energy with the hoop. Learning tricks takes time and practice, but the feeling when you finally master a move and it starts to come naturally, is absolutely worth it!
