On the last Sunday of every month we have a dance workshop in a different style each time! This month is jazz dance! Adult Sunday Sessions are open-level and are carefully designed for all ages, backgrounds and abilities. At Dakoda’s Dance Academy, we offer a nurturing environment where preschool children can learn to express themselves through movement. We understand that children develop at different rates, which is why our classes are tailored to each child’s abilities. Our experienced and highly trained instructors have a passion for teaching and helping children reach their full potential. Our Adult & Baby Ballet classes focus on developing children’s coordination, balance, and strength, while also introducing them to the basics of ballet technique. We use props such as ribbons and scarves to help engage the children and make the classes fun, imaginative and interactive. Age-appropriate preschool music is also used

Our ballet classes for 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds are carefully designed to introduce the wonders of ballet in a playful and age-appropriate way. With our kids ballet classes and kids dance classes, your child will discover the joy of dancing, while also developing important skills such as coordination, balance, and rhythm. (5-7yrs) The syllabus is based on the ISTD grade however we do also incorporate an imaginative playful approach to the work to keep the Ballet fun. As well as using a range of music from the latest pop songs to great musical theatre songs (old and new!)
