Focusing on you and your dog outside of a group class setting, in a 1-2-1 dog training session, can be really useful for you and your dog. We can focus on specific goals you may have, from teaching a dog a new game such as retrievals or flirt pole, to training for specific situation such good dog manners when guests come to our house. We can also develop a training plan to help address existing undesirable behaviours your experiencing such as your dog pulling on lead, your dog not performing recall, dog to dog reactivity, dog to person reactivity or even your dog chasing birds or squirrels.   1-2-1 dog training sessions are typically 1 hour or 1.5 hours long, depending on the issue, or number of things you want to look at in a single session. Training can be carried out in your home/ garden or out at an agreed location, such as a local park, if suitable for you and your dog's particular issue. I am also happy for you to travel to me to train your dog at an agreed location. 1-2-1 dog training prices: 1 hour = £60, including follow up report. 1.5 hours= £90, including follow up report. (Longer sessions can be arranged by agreement, priced on an individual basis.) Above prices are based on Dog Training being in and around Bishop's Stortford (IE Sawbridgeworth, Much Hadham, Little Hallingbury, Harlow, Puckeridge, Standon, Manudon), I am happy to travel, subject to agreed travel costs.

the stained glass summer class at rainbow glass studios August 7th - 11th 2023 is designed to teach all the traditional techniques needed to make a large stained glass panel. This class is for all abilities and is carried out in a well equipt studio in London.

Plan the placement of cameras considering factors like lighting conditions, obstructions, and the angle of view required. Selecting Equipment: Choose high-quality CCTV cameras and other necessary equipment such as DVRs (Digital Video Recorders) or NVRs (Network Video Recorders), cables, connectors, power supplies, and storage devices. Ensure compatibility between cameras and recording devices. Consider features like resolution, night vision capability, and weather resistance. Mounting Cameras: Install cameras at the planned locations using appropriate mounting brackets or housings. Ensure cameras are securely fixed to prevent tampering or theft. Adjust the angle and direction of each camera to cover the desired area effectively. Running Cables: Plan the route for cables connecting cameras to the recording device. Use weatherproof cables suitable for outdoor installation. Conceal cables where possible to prevent tampering and maintain aesthetics. Connecting Components: Connect cameras to the DVR/NVR using appropriate cables and connectors. Ensure proper power supply to cameras and recording devices. Configure network settings if using an IP-based CCTV system for remote viewing. Configuring Settings: Access the DVR/NVR interface and configure settings such as recording schedule, motion detection, and video quality. Set up user accounts and passwords to restrict access to the system. Test the system to ensure cameras are capturing footage and recording properly. Remote Viewing (Optional): Set up remote viewing capabilities to access live or recorded footage from smartphones, tablets, or computers. Did you know that following a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a casualty’s chance of survival by 10%?  Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the UK’s biggest killers, and yet statistics show that most of the British public are unaware of the life-saving difference they can make by performing CPR and defibrillation.  The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) qualification has been designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations.  With an estimated 60,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests occurring every year in the UK alone, make sure you are prepared!

The QA Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Oxygen (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who are responsible for providing care to casualties where the administration of emergency oxygen may be required.  Over a half day period, candidates will learn about the clinical need for emergency oxygen and the safety considerations of this, as well as how to administer emergency oxygen when dealing with a range of conditions. Successful candidates will leave the course with the knowledge and skills needed to administer emergency oxygen both safely and effectively.  Achievement of this qualification confirms candidates have met both the theoretical and practical requirements, however, it does not imply a ‘license to practice’ – the scope of practice is determined by the organisation responsible for oxygen provision. This qualification does not allow candidates to obtain, store or administer oxygen without clinical governance.
