To be able to teach Level 2, one must undertake Level 3; for both Level 2 and 3, Level 4 must be completed; and for all three levels, one must take Level 5. What is the difference between QTS and QTLS? QTS is for teaching up to age 16, while QTLS covers beyond that. QTS is necessary for teaching young students, while QTLS is ideal for teaching at a higher education level.
