Course Information Who should attend? This course is for people who do not hold a Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate or for those with expired certificates. My certificate has expired! The HSE recommends you attend the full 3 day First Aid at Work/ blended Level 3 First Aid at Work (RQF) if more than a month has passed since expiry of you certificate.  Course delivery Blended learning – Online (theory) combined with practical training (classroom) Online 6 hours of theory training based around the theory elements of the course. This can be undertaken at your own pace and must be completed within six weeks of the practical element training session. **Online training must be completed before attending the classroom session.  Classroom Training 2 days of classroom training led by a professional instructor to cover the practical elements of the course and final test. This one-day workshop is a hands-on introduction to photographing jewellery, aimed at jewellers who are considering or just beginning to sell their work. We’ll look at the why and the how of creating a consistent and considered style for presenting your work either online or for marketing materials. We’ll cover the basic kit you’ll need; the best camera settings to use; different lighting styles and how to achieve them; and composition and styling using a range of backgrounds and props to bring your images to life. No previous photography experience is needed. You’re welcome to use a phone camera or SLR/mirrorless camera, as you prefer, and to bring with you any other photography kit or props you may have, although this is not necessary. Cathy Pyle is an experienced professional photographer and teacher of adults, who works with creatives, small businesses and magazines across the UK. Lee Furniture offer a beginners course in cabinetmaking. The tuition is one on one. This course is for the beginner interested in making furniture. The course is hands on and will be based around using tools and machinery to plane wood, use of hand tools to include the correct use of: Marking out tools Planes Chisels Scrapers Power tools During the day we will talk about wood selection, Planing, joints etc.. You will also have a chance to use a Tablesaw, bandsaw, router table etc.. You will also have the chance to cut some dovetail joints by hand!! Throughout there is plenty of time for questions. PLEASE NOTE: You don't make a box on this course, if you wish to leave with a finished product at the end of the day, please book our box making course in or other courses available.. Day 1 will start with an outdoor classroom input, and then out on the ground to practise some map reading skills and some compass work. Day 2 will be out on the hills all day, and will include individual assessments. The 2 days will be very relaxed and enjoyable. Successful candidates will receive an official NNAS certificate.

The IRATA Level 1 is the entry level into the rope access industry. An IRATA Level 1 technician will be able to perform a range of rope access manoeuvres and have an understanding of the current legislation. An IRATA Level 1 is required to be supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician.

This IRATA training course is for candidates who already have an IRATA Level 2 qualification, plus 1,000 hours of work on ropes, one year of experience from your previous Level 2 assessment and a Level 2 certificate that is still in date.
