Welcome the spring equinox at our Ostara Egg Painting Workshop, led by artist and ritual practitioner Eugenia Rosa on Saturday 22 March from 4-6 PM at the Art & Spirituality Centre in Edinburgh. With roots in ancient fertility and growth traditions, egg painting is a way to celebrate new life and growth as the earth awakens. Eugenia will guide you through creating your own beautifully decorated eggs that symbolise abundance, creativity, and rebirth for the season ahead. Why paint eggs for Ostara? In many traditions, the egg symbolises life, renewal, and possibility. Decorating eggs at Ostara brings the energy of growth and abundance into your life, honouring the cycles of nature. What to Expect: Creative Seasonal Symbols: Use a variety of natural dyes, paints, and embellishments to make unique eggs that represent your intentions. Fun & Uplifting Atmosphere: Enjoy a springtime craft in a lively, supportive setting with others welcoming the season of growth. Personal Touches: Feel free to bring symbols, herbs, or colours meaningful to you, infusing your eggs with personal significance. Spaces are limited, so book early and celebrate the renewal of spring at the Art & Spirituality Centre.
