Great and necessary course for anyone working with young people. Cheryl is an excellent instructor. Thank you! Excellent use of personal stories to help use as examples to explain the different types of mental health. Cheryl was patient and supportive with technical glitches. Useful having her phone number to text. Cheryl was knowledgeable and gave us confidence in our approach to a young person in crisis in the way we can try to help and support them. The course was informative, and I found the individual learning actives and tasks accompanied with the teaching worked extremely well. The videos provided were engaging and remained focussed on the topic. I particularly felt Cheryl dealt with some of the topics that were difficult, with a high level of sensitivity and care. There was briefing prior to some of the topics. I would have possibly liked a debrief however I believed the course was excellent and I feel it will be so important for my organisation in supporting with our service users. It has now prompted me to continue further learning around mental health and building on what I have learnt from the course. Thanks to Cheryl again for her delivery of the course and demonstrating her passion. Really enjoyable and engaging course...really useful for me going forward The course is very good at highlighting all the different aspects of mental health. it doesn't just talk about depression but all the other areas that affect young people. The videos were very good and engaging. Especially the personal testimonies. The website is very well presented and the lessons run very well on this platform. Thanks so much, Cheryl. This has been invaluable Really useful thank you. Even late on a Thursday evening it has been very accessible, informative and great to network with fellow carers too Fantastic course - really interesting and it is great to be able to access it from home. Really enjoyed the break out rooms and being able to discuss aspects of the course. It is very thought provoking and helped me to look at support for mental health from a new perspective Excellent! Cheryl was a brilliant instructor during the course and I felt re-assured and supported by her. The online sessions were very informative and teamwork was really nicely encouraged by Cheryl. The content of the course is extremely valuable and the book will be a very helpful resource for me on a longer term. I'm confident that I will be able to use my knowledge to support my own child and other young people in the future. Thank you so much Cheryl!

This results in high levels of success in our wide range of qualifications as well as exceptional student skill development and medal achievements in local, regional, national, and international skills competitions. At the most recent WorldSkills UK national finals our College was the best performing College in England. Students won gold medals in creative media makeup, silver medals in digital media production and visual merchandising, and foundation level students won gold medals in catering health and social care, and motor vehicle skills. The amazing commitment and high levels of expertise of our teaching and support staff over the last year has been recognised in nominations for a TES national award (for our distance and online learning team) and through two national Pearson award nominations for our beauty and holistic therapies teaching team and for one of our learning support mentors. We have also been awarded chartered status by the Chartered Institution for Further Education, the only organisation in the UK with royal assent to provide chartered status to FE providers. In the last three years, the College has opened two new world class campuses. The College-led MIRA Technology Institute (MTI) is located on the HORIBA MIRA Technology Park and is a learning partnership with HORIBA MIRA, Coventry, Leicester, and Loughborough Universities. Students and apprentices at this campus are building skills to support the disruptive technologies such as electrification and cyber security in the automotive industry. The College’s new Digital Skills Academy located on the Coventry University Technology Park represents part of our response to the fast-growing demand for digital skills in all industry sectors. Over the next year, we will be opening our Centre for Logistics Education and Research (CLEAR) at Magna Park, in partnership with Aston University and industry partner Wincanton. We will also be progressing our plans with Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to move our award-winning restaurant and a new Digital Innovation Centre into Nuneaton town centre, and we will continue with the redevelopment of our Nuneaton campus into a 21st century digitally enable centre of teaching excellence.

Third-Party Risk Management

Overview Extending business activities beyond organisational boundaries to create value for the organisation is not new. However, the quantity and complexity of the relationships that now exist beyond organisational boundaries are increasing, as is regulatory and stakeholder scrutiny. While partnerships with third parties, including critical suppliers, can be beneficial to the organisation on so many levels, such alliances can expose the organisation to many unknowns, and those unknowns will undoubtedly increase the level of risk. The key, then, is properly managing the infrastructure, systems, staff and outside support to adequately manage that risk.

Leadership Identity Through Self-Discovery

5.0(1)

By Puritas

This module focuses on developing leadership confidence through self-discovery, emphasising the importance of understanding one's unique leadership style and personal philosophy. Participants will explore their core identity as leaders and learn strategies to enhance their influence, credibility, and relationships within their organisation. Exploring the link between self-discovery and effective leadership, focusing on developing confidence to lead from within. Testimonial: “Without guidance, personal branding can quickly become an exercise in aspiration and competition; letting the carefully curated public personas of others dictate our own validity and definition of success. Clarity on who we truly are, what matters to us and therefore how we position ourselves in the world takes reflection and time. Rachael’s work in this area has inspired the nearly 100 delegates who have been part of our HR Leadership Academy over the past 8 years, and I have no doubt will continue to resonate with future cohorts.” MD, Nina Metson - Suffolk
