 	This course is designed for personnel who supervise the lift and follow lift plans for routine and non-routine lifts.
Requirements:
Experienced operators should have sufficient experience of cranes to meet the requirements specified in British standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes.

Overview of Moving and Handling of People & Objects Train the Trainer (2 Day Classroom Attendance)
Moving and Handling of People & Objects CPD Train the Trainer provides learners with an extensive Moving & Handling skill set so that they can identify how to safely move people, objects and safely use equipment. On completing this course learners will have the knowledge, understanding and skills required to be able to deliver Moving and Handling of People & Objects training in their healthcare workplace. The course is designed for experienced healthcare staff working within a care environment.
We deliver this course at our training centre in Birmingham (Hagley Road, Edgbaston), we only allow a maximum of 4 learners at any time. We feel proud to be able to deliver training to smaller groups as we want to ensure learners experience a personalised and supportive learning experience allowing the Trainer to provide quality time and individual support.
Learner Entry RequirementsLearners must have a relevant care-related qualification accredited/ awarded or working towards a Level 3 qualification or above.
Working in a Senior position
Previous Moving and Handling Qualification/ CPD Certificate advantageous but not essential.
2 Years’ Experience of Moving and Handling of People & Objects in a care Setting.
The physical capability of practical people and objects Moving and Handling.
We would recommend learners to work towards Level 3 Award in Education and Training and/or Level 3 Certificate in assessing competence in the work environment but is not essential for this course as your trainer skills will be assessed.

This Moving & Handling People & Objects Train the Trainer has been accredited by the CPD Accreditation Group and is aligned to the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF).


Assessment Methods


Moving & Handling of People & Objects Train the Trainer is internally assessed. Each learner is required to complete the pre course preparation prior to attending the 2 day classroom train the trainer course. This will all be emailed to you 7 -14 days prior to attending the course. During the classroom attendance you will participate in risk assessing and demonstrating practical activities throughout the course. There will be peer observations for classroom assessments and a 10-minute theory micro-teach and a 10-minute practical micro-teach on Day 2 of the course.

Our Peripheral IV Cannulation Course and Injection Course training kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available for you to add at time of booking. Training kits mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video instructions, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for your one full day to complete your cannulation and injection course training.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your cannulation course and one for your injection course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 and £39.95 respectively) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

The LAA operates a strict compliance regime when it comes to auditing crime lower bills, and mistakes can often result in a Contract Notice, corrective action, and further follow-up activity within 6 months. 

This course will take you through the various aspects of crime lower billing, with discussions on topics such as what is and is not claimable; how you apply series of offences guidance; what evidence is required to claim a trial fee when a matter is discontinued; how do the LAA audit travel and other disbursement claims (including the rules when instructing an agent); and what evidence must be present on files to avoid any issues on audit. 

Key aspects of the Crime Contract, Criminal Bills Assessment Manual and Codes Guidance will be included, along with a discussion of common errors that are made; and how to claim non-standard and escape fee matters.
