I’m writing to share some important news about QA Dental Engineers. As some of you know, I started QA as a sole trader around 25 years ago, back when the industry was very different to the industry we see today. Due to an increasing client base, I expanded the company to include field engineers and office staff as was necessary and the company grew steadily over the years. With the advancement of technology and development of new techniques, we adjusted our practices to ensure we always stayed current and were able to continue to support our clients to the fullest of our ability. I’ve always been proud of the way our engineers have stepped up to the challenges posed by an ever-changing industry, their willingness to undertake further training and continuing professional development. I surrounded myself with an excellent team and we have always endeavoured to provide the best service we can. Unfortunately, with all that being said, times do change and things do come to an end. It is with regret that I have made the decision to close QA Dental Engineers. We will cease actively trading on the 31st of March 2022, although the office will be open until the 15th of April 2022 in order to give us time to wrap things up properly. I appreciate that this is very short notice, however, we had been hoping to reach an agreement with another company in order to enable us to continue trading (albeit under another name.) Unfortunately, this was not feasible and so we are still in the situation where we need to close our doors. We are not booking in any further service work or Pressure System Inspections in order to make sure we have enough capacity to cover breakdowns and repairs in the weeks we have available. We are unable to recommend another dental engineering company at this time. I personally am going to continue to create better practices for dentists by means of automation of vacuum & compressor systems. I’ve been involved in this for some time with my company Qcall Technologies UK, which some of you may be aware of. I will be available in this capacity for any enquiries you may have.

Activate is a registered Charity which was founded in 2005. We deliver personalised educational and vocational programmes for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities in both Knowsley and Wirral. We have recently been added to the Section 41 Secretary of State approved providers list. Our services include: Study programmes for 19-24 year olds which focus on vocational skills/independent living skills and are funded through the Education Funding Agency If you would like more information about our programmes please see our Admissions section. Important Notice! We are fully aware that this is, and will be, a challenging time for us all; we are indeed in unchartered territory. Advice from the Government and Public Health England is changing on a daily basis so we are just letting you know the situation as it stands at present, and changes that we’ve made at Activate. We will keep all parents fully updated of changes via either telephone calls, letters or the Activate Facebook page. As of Friday 27th March 2020: Easter holidays have been brought forward by a week. We offer taster sessions after racing over the weekends, as well as additional training for those who have already completed their RYA Level 1 or Level 2 courses.

QUAD BIKING  An awesome activity to get you & your family or friends doing something exhilarating and challenging. Catering for 6 years and above, regardless of ability, come and test yourself on our 200 acres of challenging (but very scenic) terrain. We’re an all-weather attraction, open all year. Don’t be put off by the rain – the WETTER, the BETTER! We have a large range of quads to cater for everyone from 6 years old and above. This includes 50cc – 450cc Yamaha’s, Honda’s, Adly’s & Cf Moto’s. So we have small bikes for the small kids and BIG bikes for the BIG Kids! 4X4 LAND ROVER EXPERIENCE Learn to Drive Off-Road in Ilfracombe, North Devon, here at Keypitts in the best vehicle for the job - The land Rover Discovery! This 4x4 experiece will tale you out foe an exhilirating journey of 30-45 minutes, all ober out 200 acres of challening terrain. Starting out fairly easy, the course will get harder the further you progress – don’t worry though, our instructors are talented off-road drivers themselves and will be right with you to help out. If at any point you don’t feel comfortable, or the instructor feels a certain part may be too challenging, they will take over and drive for you – though this rarely happens. You’ll come away with new skills and far better knowledge of how to drive off-road, in addition to an awesome North Devon day out doing something a bit different. Please note must hold a full driving license to be able to drive, and can take up to 3 passengers along with you. If no one has a driving license, then we can take up to 4 passengers on a 4×4 ride with one of our instructors driving. AXE THROWING Have you ever gone axe throwing? We use professional throwing axes, Tomahawks or Mousehawks for the slightly smaller people. We have 3 targets which are marked with points and get harder as you’ll go, so you’ll quickly find there is a definite technique behind throwing an axe! MINI LAND ROVERS This is for the 3 – 10 year olds – I bet your little ones want to drive! Well now they can, let them get behind the wheel and steer themselves around our purpose built track.
