The Temporary Works Supervisor course will provide you with knowledge of the role. You will also gain a good understanding of risk management on a temporary works site. Course Objectives: By the end of the course, the delegate will gain knowledge of: Have gained an understanding of the importance of cooperation and teamwork on a temporary works site Understand the legal duties of the role Have a stronger awareness of risk management on-site as well as the roles of a supervisor and their fellow employees on site Leave the course with an understanding of the “4C’s”, Communication, Cooperation, Coordination and Competency Course Content: Different groups and types of Temporary Works BS5975:2019 CDM Regulations Legislation and Codes of Practice Temporary Works Register, Design Brief and Design Case studies, policy and procedures, Standard solutions and permitted drawings Risk assessments, method statements Safe systems of work The roles and duties of a Temporary Works Supervisor Assessment: To successfully complete the course, you will need to get 72% or above in the final exam. The trainer encourages the delegates to be interactive and involved throughout the training. Certificate: The certificate for this course is valid for 5 years. Instructions Please note all Temporary Works Supervisor courses with the venue “Remote Learning” will be delivered by a tutor over a video call. This training will be delivered and assessed in English language; therefore, a good standard is required to complete the course. Lash Lift and Tint What is a lash lift? The objectives of this course are that by the end the student will be able to perform a professional treatment safely and hygienically in a commercially acceptable time, along with experience of carrying out a consultation with the knowledge of the background, benefits, consultation, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare, equipment and products needed. Course Content Salon health, safety & hygiene Be able to consult, plan and prepare for eye treatments with clients Understand how to work safely and effectively when providing lash lift service Anatomy & Physiology Understand contra-indications that prevent or restrict eye treatments Understand equipment, materials, products, techniques and treatment planning for a lash lift and tint Be able to provide aftercare advice for clients Training Kit Included with a course Certificate You will receive an end of course certificate which is accredited by the cpd group and allows you to work on public How does the course work? The course is divided into 2 parts, the first part is theoretical which you have to complete before you come for your practical training, and the second one is a practical assignment. The practical assignment is done on the day which will be agreed upon course purchase. You will spend around 2-3 hours practising on a model in our venue in London E106RA. Will I require a model? Yes, you have to supply your model-2 will be needed. We can supply one for you, however, there is a £50 charge for this. Do I Need Experience Before Booking a Course? We’re pleased to offer courses to people with lots of different experiences. However, previous experience nor qualifications are not necessary if you would like to enrol on our Course. Level 1 Workshop (F2F) The Level 1 Workshop is the starting point for your Makaton journey. It is recommended for people who need to use Makaton at home and in their work, to develop the communication skills of others. Content Level 1 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme and a wider understanding of learning and communication difficulties. The Level 1 Workshop include how to start using Makaton in everyday situations; immediate needs, home, familiar people, food, events, activities and objects. You will also discover hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use to maximise communication. Entry criteria There is no entry criteria for this Workshop Study materials You will receive a Participant's Manual, which includes the Makaton symbols and signs that you learn in the workshop. You will also be given a certificate of attendance. Please remember to keep your Level 1 training certificate in case you want to attend further Makaton training. After the workshop After completing Level 1 training you can continue on your Makaton journey by attending Level 2 training. Instructions This is a Level 1 course.
