Bilbrough Country Classroom provides a calm, stress-free environment for our young people who require respite from the hustle and bustle of school life. It’s well documented that being in nature is good for mental health and our environment, including rolling green fields, provides a feeling of space and freedom; helping our young people become more focused and productive. Students who come to Bilbrough Country Classroom will find themselves spending time with all sorts of animals, as in dogs, horses, guinea pigs, sheep, chickens, geese, ducks and our latest arrivals the two alpacas! We endeavour to look after the whole person by encouraging our young people to cook their own healthy food, perform self-care and find positive ways of developing relationships with their peers, through sharing mealtimes, playing structured games and assisting each other with simple chores.

Art and the environment Since the formation of A Vision of Britain in 2009 many of our projects have been to support our environment. Teaching in schools, working and collaborating with Epping Forest District Council, The Corporation of London, Countrycare and The Woodland Trust on many environmental projects such as 50 Favourite trees, Local Nature Reserves, Epping Forest walks and Health and Fitness activities. Art and photography have proved to be courses that many people have enjoyed and valued. Carrot Learning embraces this learning method by formalizing the presentation of the content and supporting learners to have open discussions about it. Furthermore, the platform enables learners to record both reflections and the actions they will take from these discussions. Courses are provided by subject matter experts, providing their content and delivering it with their ability to facilitate open discussion. Learners not only engage with other course participants but, due to the open nature of our chosen platform Twitter, they also engage with a much wider audience, extending the breadth of knowledge, experience and social learning achieved.

Inspired by their parents to serve the community, our founding trustees designed and constructed the Mosque, which opened to the public in December 2013. Spread over two floors, the Mosque can accommodate 800 worshippers at any one time. In addition to the daily congregational prayers, the Mosque provides educational classes for both adults and children, as well as a range of religious and secular activities and services. Situated close to the University of Southampton, our congregation reflects the very diverse and multicultural nature of an international educational hub. You will find worshippers of all denominations from across the world, each adding to the ambience of the Mosque.

For at least 10 years I have worked remotely and it is now my predominant way of working, generally via zoom for one to one and group sessions. It works equally well to in person. I have clients from all over the world.You may not have heard of some of the therapies I offer but I specialise in treatments that work as efficiently and effectively as possible and am confident I can offer a service that will help you. Biofield tuning has become my most popular offering and I trained in person with Eileen McCusick. I now also offer training in using Tuning Forks - Freedom Tuning© I also hold regular sound healing events in Higham Ferrers and and a regular online group Biofield Tuning. In addition to Biofield Tuning I also hold qualifications in Reflexology, Spiritual Response Therapy, Radiesthesia, Naet (allergy elimination). Before working in the therapy field I worked overseas in tourism and have been a countryside ranger and community development officer using nature and food growing as a modality for therapy.  " I have a down to earth and compassionate approach when working  with clients and always do my best to help clients feel relaxed, welcome and supported"
