I was a late comer to Floristry (my background is in Marketing) but the creative and organisational skills gained during my years of marketing are so valuable when it comes to planning flowers for an event. I re-trained in floristry while living in Australia, and in 2021 The Harbour Florist (named after Sydney Harbour) was born. I now work from a home studio near Newbury, Berkshire. I focus on weddings and events plus the occasional workshop, and my aim is always to create beautiful, relaxed, designs tailored specifically to you. I like to keep designs looking as close to nature as possible, using flowers in their natural form and colour, locally grown when available and combining with lush green foliage for added texture and contrast.

’m Vicky, I’m a wife, mum and Textile Artist and I love being creative, I studied a Textiles Degree at Winchester School of Art and have recently finished my City and Guilds in Machine Embroidery which was an absolute joy to do and has helped inspire my more recent work – combining it with hand embroidery techniques to enhance it. I enjoy dyeing and printing my own fabrics to create interesting backgrounds, blending colour washes, printing and mark making to create unique pieces of art to stitch onto. I work from my home studio in Surrey which has provided me with a rich source of inspiration from nature – from the colours and texture of bark to the serenity and beauty in the local landscapes.

We facilitate regular location based creative writing workshops, inspired by natural and urban landscapes across the U.K. We offer inspiring experiences to anyone, from aspirant writers to professionals, at any age and from all backgrounds. NEWS Our next writing workshop will take place on November 22nd 2014. Expect an invigorating Autumn walk & write, set in the mystical, magical landscapes of Moseley Bog Nature Reserve. What can the old forests inspire in you? Bring a pen, some paper, and good sturdy walking boots. Expect an hour-long walk, interspersed with a series of quick writing exercises, before relocating to the next door pub for some hearty autumn refreshments, further writing and shared readings.

Charlotte Llewellyn is a textile artist based in South East London and the founder of Stemwell Workshop. She specialises in natural dyeing and quilting. Charlotte aims to connect traditional process with contemporary craft, whilst focusing on sustainability and interaction with nature. All cloth has been reclaimed. All colour and print is derived from plants either locally grown, or ethically sourced. Taking inspiration from architecture, landscape and historical textiles, and by honouring the tradition of patchwork as storytelling, Charlotte endeavours to breathe new life into old cloth, hoping to continue the narrative. Her work ranges from small functional items for the home, to large scale wall pieces. She also teaches workshops in natural dyeing and printing techniques, patchwork and hand quilt
