The Elite Programme is our newest and most exciting venture - offering extreme intensive training and preparation for a long lasting career in the arts. When my mother Irene started McKechnie School of Dance in 1961, little did she know that her School would go on to win awards at the Scottish British and World Championships and create a legacy of dance and performance opportunities that would last forever! Today, McKechnie still is very much a family School, and together with my mother Irene, and our amazing team, we are still delivering outstanding dance and performance opportunities for our young dancers, while changing and adapting to the needs of today’s diverse and challenging Industry. We offer classes in Classical Ballet, Highland, Scottish National, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Commercial, Musical Theatre & Singing. Monument Dance Centre was founded in 1983 under the name Monument Ballet School by Louise Murray. In 1992 the school the school got a permanent location in Causewayhead in a converted barn, after which it was renamed Monument Dance Centre. The building has continued to expand and in the 2000's multiple outreach branches were opened across the Stirling area.

Confidance Performing Arts is an established and exciting school for dance, acro and theatre arts in Chryston, Glasgow. Our aim is to create a fun, yet disciplined environment in which our students can develop skills in dance,acro and musical theatre. Our vision is to offer the highest standard of training possible to children from as young as 2 and half years old to 18. Our team of wonderful teachers will endeavour to use their combined experience, both as teachers and industry professionals, to help produce fun, progressive and inspiring lessons where the children will learn not just performing arts but life skills as well. All of our teachers are fully qualified and have worked in the entertainment arena as professionals in dance, choreography, musical theatre, Acro, film and TV. We offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Commercial, Acro, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Boys Street Dance, Competative classes and Private lessons. We follow the IDTA, RAD and ACROBATIC ARTS syllabus. We pride ourselves in having a 100% pass rate for our IDTA and RAD examinations, with a large majority passing with Distinction/Honours Confidance instructs and inspires individuals to excel in dance, singing and acting. Our focus is on building strong confident and technical all-round performers, while encouraging a positive and comfortable atmosphere in class as well as giving our students opportunities to gain experience in shows, competitions master classes and events with high production values.

Shakespeare's Kids was established by Sharon McNally (BA Hons) in 2012 following her studies in both Literature and Language. The objective initially was to explore ways in which quality literature, in particular Shakespeare, could be made more appealing and approachable to young children. Shakespeare's Kids have managed to create a unique experience where children as young as five can not only enjoy the stories of Shakespeare's plays, but actually become immersed in the the experience of becoming a literary character through costume, props, film and musical theatre. Drama, dance, music, film and costume were combined to encourage the children to create, perform and direct their version of Shakespeare's most popular works as well as their own unique stage productions. To date the project has produced short films adaptations of: - Macbeth - A Midsummer Night's Dream - Romeo & Juliet And their own unique historical short films including - The Revenge of Emmy Tot, Scotlands First Female Pirate - The World of William Shakespeare - The Battle of Bannockburn Filming has taken place across a range of locations from local graveyards, to historical sites such as Stirling Castl. From stately homes such as Chatelherault House Hamilton and Bannockburn House Stirling to Colzium Estate Kilsyth. The children have also ventured into stage productions and musical theatre creating their own plays based on literature & film's most classic heroes and villains and most recently they tackled a full scale Broadway Musical, Aladdin.

Central Scotland Ballet School began life as a branch of the prestigious ‘Scottish Academy of Dance’. From humble beginnings with only 20 pupils, CSBS Principal Mrs Jacqueline Clark established 4 large branches with a roll of over 1000 pupils. Her daughters, Amanda and Samantha, have become associate directors and teachers in the school, ensuring her high standards are maintained and keeping it a family business. The School quickly established a fine reputation as one of Scotland’s leading part-time ballet schools. Students of all ages and abilities are trained to the highest levels in Classical Ballet, studying the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus in a fun and friendly environment. They complement their ballet lessons with our professional tuition in commercial dance styles including Jazz, Acrobatics, Cheerleading, Tap, Commercial, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and competitive dance, as well as workshops with guest professional dance tutors. Many students enhance their training by successfully auditioning for professional Associate schemes as well as attending holiday courses at dance colleges across the UK. Annually we have students gain places at top full-time ballet schools and dance colleges across the UK. During the pandemic we ran a successful online programme with over 2500 online lessons and events… But it’s been a delight to welcome dancers back into the Studios!
