With a rise in mental ill-health, there is an ever increasing need for all individuals to understand how to spot signs of distress, effectively respond, and support a person in need. Mental Health Learning was founded in 2018 as a consultancy and training provider to support members of the community and workplaces to do just this. Our mission is to ensure that skills continue to grow amongst those who are most likely to see the signs of mental ill-health, self-harm, and thoughts of suicide. Our motivation is that our trainees can recognise these signs, then intervene to reduce harm in your community or workplace. We exist not to tick a box, but to make a difference; to teach real-life skills. We work with you and your team to understand your needs and provide the training that is most suitable for you. If it’s not one of our regular courses, we will develop a bespoke course specifically for you. All our training is evidence based, and a number of our courses are accredited. We work with places of education, corporate companies such as Law firms and Accountancy firms, Health Care Professionals, Housing Associations, and more, as well as general members of the public. Here at our school we deliver traditional Irish Dance lessons for children in Bolton, aged 2 and above. We aim to promote fun, friendship, fitness and above all, a love of Irish Dancing. Every pupil will be encouraged to develop their dancing to the best of their ability within a challenging yet supportive setting. We believe this balance is a key factor for the motivation of any successful dancer. As a pupil of the Shamrock School of Irish Dance, children will have the opportunity to participate in display performances as well as grade examinations, local and international competitions. All pupils will be directed and trained towards technical excellence and improve their confidence and fitness whilst having fun dancing! Display performances are an excellent opportunity to share our talent within the community whilst developing pupils' teamwork skills. Within the class setting, there will be a focus on flexibility, stamina and technique. Pupils are encouraged to strive for success, both on a personal and competitive level. The Shamrock School of Irish Dance is registered with the organisation - An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. An Coimisiún is the largest and most recognised Irish Dance Organisation in the world. Kirsti has also worked for British Cycling as Bikeability Tutor, training future instructors. Kirsti is a member of the Bikeability External Assurance Panel and is a recreational cyclist. Go Velo has an excellent team of instructors and tutors offering a friendly and fun approach to cycle instruction and instructor training. The team of instructors, tutors, coaches, mechanics and leaders have been carefully chosen for their love of cycling, they are qualified to a high standard, receive regular CPD and are specialists in their chosen field.

Hello and Welcome to my site, I’d like to tell you about myself and my history within the Driver Training Industry as I believe this is vital to know when choosing an Instructor. My name is Gary Phillips and I have been an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) since 1991 when I was working with BSM from their Wigan branch, having established myself as their number one Learner Driver Instructor I Quickly progressed to become a Fleet Trainer and Instructor Trainer, my reputation as an effective Instructor Trainer was soon established and I was covering a large area including Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Leeds. In 1998 I won BSM’s National Competition “Instructor of the Year.” Soon afterwards I was “Head Hunted” by another National Instructor Training company to become their National Training Officer for the North of England covering an area between Birmingham and Newcastle where I was in charge of Training the regional Trainers and Quality Control of Instructor Training sessions, I also devised and wrote a new training system which became very successful. Unfortunately this company went into Liquidation and so I decided to use the vast knowledge and experience I had gained to offer my services to Learner Drivers who were serious about wanting to learn to drive to a high standard in a short time by taking an Intensive Course and Trainee Instructors who had the motivation to qualify as an ADI, the ambition to gain a better Grade in their Check Test or advance their career and become an Instructor Trainer. My Reputation as one of the Top Trainer’s in the Industry is well known throughout the North West & beyond. My Mission is to help you achieve your Goal and by using tried and tested Training Techniques along with my own carefully developed Training Methods and individually focused Tuition to suit your personal requirements, I am confident that if you follow my advice you will achieve your Goal as soon as possible.
