It was originally born out of necessity to assist a family member who absolutely loved teaching, but found that educational reporting and planning consumed many valuable hours in school and at home. So…. after months of long days and late nights, the ILD was launched and piloted in early education settings and schools across the UK. Hundreds of colleagues in the education sector around the world who felt burdened by paper based systems, made important contributions to the ILD with suggested and requested additional functionality. Our mantra is “When you talk, we listen”. This has been true from the day we launched and is still an integral part of virtually everything we do. Each new suggestion or development is added directly to the ILD functionality development plan for consideration. What makes us so different? Well… the ILD team is made up of a unique blend of educational specialists and IT experts with a strong creative and innovative mindset. Our camp is a program designed to help your child gain the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to be a successful student. We focus on high school students. Successful basketball players know how to dribble, successful musicians can read music, but what do successful students know and do? It is not about being “smart”, but about learning the skills, strategies, and mindsets needed for success in school. While some students struggle with academic content, many have never learned how to “do school”. In our program we teach your child what it takes to be successful in school, and in life after school. Topics include but are not limited to test taking strategies, growth mindset, note-taking skills, successful and efficient study techniques, time management, avoiding cell-phone addiction, and more. Our program is for everyone: students just starting high school, students already in high school, successful students, and students struggling with finding success. The ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL) is co-funded with the ERASMUS+ programme of the European Union (Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education). ANGEL project is a convergence of ASEAN partner institutions’ responses to the strong need for capacity-building while confronting challenges of environmental degradation. In addition, ANGEL aims to support graduates as well as disadvantaged groups to attain a decent income which is derived from quality employment, and enhanced with entrepreneurial-leadership skills. Another goal is to help improve inclusiveness, because gender and other demographic divides exist and derail wealth creation across the ASEAN nations. The mission of ANGEL is to engender impact and transformation for two major target stakeholders of each partner institution in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. The first target group is the internal stakeholders, namely students, academic and non-academic staff, and top management. Within the context of Southeast Asian institutions, the green entrepreneurial mindset and transformational leadership skills and competencies are still new concepts and less implemented. The second target group of ANGEL are the disadvantaged groups within societies in Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vietnam and Malaysia. This includes women and minorities, poor income groups in both urban and rural communities as well as people with disabilities (PWD). The Asian partners are supported by universities and institutions from Greece and Cyprus.

This is because she has experienced for herself what happens when we develop the habits of fearless thinking. For this work both nationally and internationally, she was awarded an OBE in 2002. Following headship, she started her own training and coaching company working with a wide range of school and business leaders and their teams. Jackie believes coaching is the most powerful way to help leaders thrive at work and at home. Her own experience has shown her that challenging our thinking habits can make us successful, healthy and happy – in mind and body.
