Our mission is to change the world – one girl at a time. Rites for Girls trains women to mentor girls right through their adolescence and to facilitate girls’ groups.  In Girls Journeying Together groups preteen girls prepare for puberty and learn how to take charge of their emotional, social, and mental well-being. This guidance continues through their teenage years.  Our Facilitators also support their mothers as the girls journey through this pivotal phase.  Our Girls’ Net groups provide guidance and camaraderie through times of challenge to small groups of same-age girls (aged 8-18) in weekly online sessions.  Our Mentors offer tools for coping well and the girls access their inner resources while also realising that they’re not alone.  We train women to become the woman they needed in their lives when they were young.  And together we make growing up for girls an easier, safer, and better supported journey.

I am a mum, wife, daughter and friend with an absolute passion for helping people to realise their full potential. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with hundreds of people on their confidence and self-belief. Then after becoming a parent, I had a light bulb moment and realised that by working with children I would change the future of their adult life. I now pour my passion, energy and skill into working with parents and their extraordinary children – tomorrow’s trailblazers! I founded Mind Tools for Kids as I wanted to create a safe, accessible space for parents and their children to get the help, support and expertise they need. Every child deserves happiness, confidence and self-belief. The tools and strategies are simple, fun, easy to learn and more importantly they work! I love to see the transformation in the families I work with. I have won awards for my work, supported the world-renowned Paul McKenna and have made it my mission to continually learn, challenge and develop myself. I am a qualified NLP Trainer and Coach. I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. Nothing could prepare me for the rollercoaster of absolute love, joy, concern, guilt and worry that comes from being a mum. It can be exhausting! When I am not busy juggling coaching and life, I can be found knee deep in glitter, eating something yummy or watching Harry Potter with my daughter! It’s great to connect with you! Emily x

Although focusing in mindfulness and Pranayama, I also teach flowing yoga (Vinyasa) for whole body workout. I adapt sessions to suit your needs, giving you a friendly, relaxing space to quieten your mind, connect inwards, restore your energy flow, and improve flexibility, mobility and balance.  Additionally, I organise and host wellness-yoga retreats that blend my passions for healthy sustainable living, yoga, and travel. This unique combination allows me to offer an exceptional experience to those who share similar passions and are on a transformative journey to discover their true selves.

Born in London, Sally has lived in Dorking and district all her adult life and is proud and grateful to be an active part of the Dorking community scene. A secondary school teacher for most of that time (with the odd year out trying to escape) she is keenly aware of the increasing need for earlier intervention for young people facing mental health challenges. She has always been a strong advocate of creating resilience in young people through the PSHE programmes in schools. Sally practices mindfulness as part of her coping mechanism for periodic bouts of depression. She has a Stress and Health Management Diploma, a PARKES Inner Child Therapy qualification and is also an NLP master practitioner. Having raised two children herself Sally would love to see a space created locally where young people could feel safe sharing their worries and fears before they become debilitating.

Cherished Blossoms, operated by Cynthia Jackson and a team of creative artists and teachers, is currently based in Kumasi, Ghana. A home educator of two active and creative souls who loves playing, drawing and having the opportunity to play computer games (what kid in our current times doesn't appreciate a bit of crazy Minecraft character creation). Our days involve studying and exploring (with the encouragement of self-directed play) and creating experiences, whether artistically or venturing out to exciting places. Sometimes, the word 'I'm bored' pops into the day, and no matter how many things you buy to appease them, it is never enough. Still, that time of 'boredom' is essential for a wind-down or an excellent opportunity to practice mindfulness and recharge and relax to stimulate the mind creatively. I understand much better now that they learn best through creative activities and imaginative play.
