The theory assessment provides delegates with the essential knowledge to select, monitor, manage and plan the correct use of Harnesses and lanyards for use in a MEWP. Delegates successfully completing the e-learning will: Have an awareness of how to correctly identify and select the appropriate form of personal protection against falls from MEWPs. Have a theoretical awareness only of how to check, use, maintain and store a harness and lanyard with manufacturer’s instructions. Have a theoretical awareness of how harnesses and lanyards should be fitted and adjusted.
MEWP OPERATOR ELEARNING IPAF’s eLearning for MEWP operators is available for all MEWP categories (1a, 1b, 3a, 3b) and takes around three hours to complete. The eLearning is broken down into manageable sections that you can complete at your own pace and can save and resume your training at any time. IPAF MEWP Operator eLearning training course is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

In most countries there is a requirement for employers to train all employees who plan, supervise or manage work at height and the use of equipment for such work.

This Working at Height training assists in complying with the Working at Height 2005 Regulations and gives you an understanding of some of the risks, equipment and issues involved.
