Join lifestyle and streetwear label Stööki as they host their exclusive jewellery workshops at their studio in Greenwich. This ticket is valid for entry for 1 person for the date of the workshop session & includes the Brass 18k Gold-Plated Ring casting and finishing fee. The session will be focused on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's jewellery technologist Nadia Abbas. In this workshop you will: Get an insight in to the jewellery making process Receive a wax ring or pendant template to customise with your own design Get a tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques The aim is to have a finished wax master at the end of the workshop that can be taken home, but there is also the option of turning your personalised wax ring or pendant into a finished jewellery piece. Step into the world of handcrafted elegance with our Beginner On-Demand Silver Clay Enamel Jewellery Course, perfect for those new to creating colourful, torch-fired pieces. Led by an experienced tutor, this course offers comprehensive, step-by-step video tutorials that introduce you to the art of combining silver clay with vibrant enamels.

Learn about the unique qualities of silver clay and make your own solid silver jewellery. You'll be guided by a friendly and experienced teacher to help you make three jewellery pieces for you to treasure and take away! Firstly, you will make a leaf pendant or earrings. Then you'll mould a small object of your choosing to turn into a charm. Lastly, you will form a pendant or charm and learn how to add texture and a gemstone. Once all your projects are ready, you will be shown how to fire and polish your pieces to be solid silver with a beautiful shine.

If you’re in the industry, he needs no introduction but for anyone who hasn’t heard of him, he is a master of the polishing craft with over 50 years experience, his client list past and present includes, Asprey, Garrard, Theo Fennell, Hamilton and Inches Crown Jewellers of Scotland, The Royal Mint, The Royal Society. He has polished and restored many famous silverware pieces including the Americas Cup; Davis Cup; Wimbledon Cup and the Premier League Cup and he has also advised the Tower of London Jewel House on the upkeep of their silver collections. He also judged the polishing section of Goldsmiths craft and design awards. Now a Master Polisher of over 50 years’ experience, originally working for the Crown Jewellers Asprey & Garrards and well-known society jeweller Theo Fennell. Many of the pieces polished are now seen in Palaces, Museums and the rich and famous across the world. Stephen is one the most respected jewellery & silver polishers and is currently is teaching polishing across Europe and is known affectionately as “The Gold polishing Guru”. He has polished and restored many famous silverware pieces including the Americas Cup; Cricket World cup, Wimbledon Cup, Dubai Gold Cup, Premier League Cup. He has also been privileged to work in the jewel house at the Tower of London restoring The Grand Punch bowl made in 1830 and used by the Royal family on many occasions. Also known for polishing the largest pure gold coins made by the Royal Mint the largest being the James Bond 7kg pure gold coin. He is a fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths (IPG) and their official ambassador and a Master of The Dutch Guild of Goldsmiths. He shares his trade skills by teaching nationally and internationally including at Goldsmiths Centre, School of Master Jeweller’s Birmingham and VanTol & Breet Academy (Netherlands), The School of Jewellery Dublin & The Design & Craft Irish Craft Council in Kilkenny, Vannilla Ink, Aka_bespoke Manchester, Sheila Fleet in Orkney, Patrick Mavros in Zimbabwe and Mauritius. Stephen is a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths’ and was granted the Freedom of the City of London in 1975. He has also had the very rare honour of winning The Goldsmith’s Company Award twice, plus many other prestigious awards and served as a council member for The Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council and a published authority on polishing precious metals “Polishing and Finishing for Jewellers and Silversmiths by the Crowood Press. This one day silver bangle making course lead by jeweller Kirsten Hendrich will introduce you skills and techniques required to design and make your own silver sterling bangles. You will learn how to size bangles, how to solder, texture the metal, cut out a charm, and also polish your designs. You will be provided with all the silver required to make two stacking bangles and a charm to accompany them. This is an excellent starting project for a beginner. For those with more experience, it is an opportunity to develop your skills further. In this intermediate setting class we are going to be looking into traditional techniques for channel setting stones into pre-cast silver rings. This attractive and popular setting style allows for you to learn more advanced setting techniques that will take your skills to a new level. We will discuss how to lay out the stones within the setting and discuss fine tolerances. You will then prepare your ring for setting before you begin drilling and opening the channel and finally set the stones in place. By the end of the day you will have the knowledge needed to apply these advanced techniques to your own designs. WHEN: Saturday 5th October 10-5pm WHERE:  Workshop 925 based at The Mayford Centre, just outside of Woking and very close to Guildford. This class is about getting to grips with Tube Setting. You will have to option to create a pendant or ring – maybe even two pieces if time allows. Krista will guide you through the process of tube setting where you will be using the Foredom Pendant Motor to cut a seat for your facetted brilliant cut stone. From here you can design and make your pendant or ring, solder your setting in place and then learn the techniques to set your stone. WHEN: Sunday 15th September 10-5pm WHERE:  Workshop 925 based at The Mayford Centre, just outside of Woking and very close to Guildford. Unit F9 The Mayford Centre, Mayford Green Woking, Surrey  GU22 0PP TUTOR: Krista Thomson WHAT DOES THE DAY INVOLVE? This class is about getting to grips with Tube Setting. If you would like to bring along your own stones, that is not a problem, Krista can advise if they are suitable on the day. We will work with Cubic zirconias as they are affordable, strong and perfect while you practice. Each student has their own fully equipped bench with its own Foredom Pendant Motor. We have put together a Pinterest Board to show how tube setting can be used within jewellery making. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: It will help to have some experience with basic making skills. CLASS SIZE: 6 WHAT IS INCLUDED? All tools and consumables are supplied YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH: 0.8mm silver sheet – 0.5cm wide x 9cm length – for a band ring or pendant design. 2mm silver round wire – 15cm Length – for a pendant or 2 rings 4.5mm silver tube – 7cm 4mm Cubic Zirconias x 3 WHAT TO BRING: For safety reasons, during each class, you are required to wear appropriate footwear, we request that no open toed shoes are worn within Workshop 925.
