Our expert Stretchologists will take you through various stretches while doing all the hard work for you – building your flexibilty and range of motion leaving you loose and relaxed. WHO SHOULD GET STRETCHED? Assisted Stretching is for every age group, every lifestyle and every body. Whether you’re a gym junkie, desk based office worker, or even a couch potato, everyone can benefit from stretching, and stretching correctly. WHO WILL BE STRETCHING ME? All of our Stretchologists have bodywork experience and are certified in our proprietary stretch method. They come from a variety of backgrounds, including personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction and professional dance. They are then complete our in house- training with our Director of Education and Head Stretchologist before under going many hands-on practice hours. WHEN SHOULD I GET STRETCHED? Any time is a good time to get stretched! Whether pre- or post- workout, or whether you just need some time to focus on yourself and recover. If you are feeling stiff it’s a great way to get yourself moving again. A pre-workout stretch warms up your muscles, can reduce risk of injury and boost your performance. A post-workout stretch speeds recovery by flushing out metabolic waste, increasing blood flow and lengthening muscles that have just been contracted. On top of it all it’s super relaxing. WHAT TO GET STRETCHED We can take you through a series of stretches that focus on the entirety of the body. This is a great way of getting started. As you work with your Stretchologist together you will be able to identify areas that need extra attention and show them the love the deserve. Alternatively if there is something you already know needs some attention just let us know! WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Anything you are comfortable in, and isn’t too restrictive. What you would wear to work out in is a simple answer. Your Stretchologist will move you into some open positions so please ensure you are concealed. You won’t get sweaty or need to shower. We do ask that our clients wear a fresh pair of socks, which we also have available for purchase in the studio.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT The Perth Fitness Camp are specialists in outdoor training and since 2009 we have helped over 30's men & women from Perth achieve results they thought were impossible. For many of my members that may mean training towards a specific event or to reveal those elusive abs. For the majority of my team it simply means getting a bit leaner, feeling fitter, stronger, having more energy and having the confidence to wear clothes that show off their bod as opposed to hiding it away. Why over 30's? As a dad in my 40's, a coach and former overweight guy....I get it!! The simple truth of the matter is that carefree days have been replaced by 24/7 responsibilities, marriage/relationships, a baby or two (or three), a mortgage and a boss who reminds you of all three. Maybe you'll agree.... Pringles and chocolate bars that once disappeared in a puff of metabolic smoke now linger like an oil spill. Get this >> did you know your physiological capacity - the overall performance of most of your body's systems decreases by around 1% per year from 30 onwards. Hence the pringle and chocolate hangover Muscle mass decreases by 3 - 5% each decade after your 30's So what can you do to safeguard this? You need to switch your focus to preventative fitness and follow a simple approach to nutrition that's sustainable for life and not just a faddy quick fix. Which is why I want to help you take back control just as I have using the very system that my clients use to stay leaner and fitter in their 30's, 40's and beyond.

My interest in wellbeing and weight loss was sparked in my early 30s when maintaining my weight was suddenly not quite as easy as it was in my 20s. Around the same time close family members were prescribed drugs for high blood pressure and cholesterol problems. I became interested in the concept of ‘eating yourself healthy’ and how lifestyle impacts a person’s health. This curiosity has never left and has evolved to include how we are choosing to age as we get older. #agingwithattitude In 2006 I trained as Pilates teacher and Personal Trainer, leaving the world of IT behind. While most of my clients successfully lost weight – usually men, a number did not – usually women. This was despite the women following exercise programmes and restricting their calorie intake. The “Eat Less and Exercise More” mantra was not working for everyone. I decided to determine the underlying cause by undertaking further training and research. I trained to become a Metabolic Effect Nutrition Consultant. This training is provided by a US company which combines holistic Medical Doctors and Personal Training qualifications. This course covered hormones and how they impacted the body and weight loss, for women in particular. Menofitness Training from Australia was next. It was a course about the Menopause and the health and fitness aspects for women as they get older. You can find a list of my qualifications here This combination of years of experience and courses has become my first book The Menopause Diaries I wrote it because I struggled to find any practical information on how to adapt to the changes that comes with the menopause. I cannot be the only person that is finding this challenge. Hopefully my book will help other women be as healthy as they can at this time in their life. coffe and cake I enjoy the simple pleasures of life, like coffee and cake at the weekend and rediscovered the joys of reading novels after purchasing a Kindle a few years ago. You can find some of my favourite health books here. While I don’t sit up reading in bed with a torch anymore (need to balance hormones with a good nights sleep!) I still enjoy a good book. Europe is one of my favourite destinations where I enjoy taking life a bit slower while enjoying good food and wine.

Lisa Sayers is a CNHC and BANT registered BSc nutritional therapist, nutrigenetics counsellor, ACSM certified exercise physiologist/health fitness specialist, sports massage therapist, Stott Pilates instructor, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, CHEK practitioner, former qualified general nurse and venepuncturist working as a personal trainer and nutritional therapist in Henley-on-Thames, Reading, Marlow (Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire). Lisa qualified as a nurse in 1988, began working in the fitness and health industry in 2003 and has been running her own successful practice since 2005. She regularly teaches in a number of locations including Drummond physiotherapy clinic and Drummond Education, and has published several articles for them and other local health related practices. Lisa now operates from her own air conditioned and well equipped studio and consulting room in Henley-on-Thames where there is private parking available. Lisa’s unique skill sets allow her to take a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to help clients with all types of needs move towards their health and fitness goals. Clients vary from teenagers to the elderly, and range from the able bodied seeking to improve an aspect of their well-being to those suffering from disease, metabolic disorders or in recovery from injury or surgery. Outside of her practice, Lisa is a mum with three grown up daughters and enjoys a number of activities including marathon running and cooking.
