Supervising First-Aid for Mental Health Two Day Course Cost:  £125 + vat per person SYLLABUS A range of First Aid for Mental Health related subjects are covered, including: What is First Aid for Mental Health? This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner must complete the entire course again to re-qualify for a further three years. Supervising First Aid for Mental Health FAA Level 3 Award in supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF). Award in Leading First Aid for Mental Health at SCQF Level 6. This course builds on the Level 2/5 Award in First Aid for Mental Health and covers a wider range of mental health conditions. Goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition.

Person-centred approaches underpins existing dementia, learning disabilities, mental health and end of life care core skills frameworks. This subject forms standard 5 in The Care Certificate.
