This service includes our bespoke wedding band service where we are able to supply wedding bands of your choice, made to order in weights ranging from light to heavy and from a wide array of materials. These materials include: yellow, white and rose gold in 9 carat to 22 carat gold, platinum and palladium. Our engraving service, either by hand or machine, can transform your wedding band into a truly stunning piece for your special day. Our skilled and qualified craftsmen have built an enviable reputation over the years for providing a fast, effective service that emphasises quality and reliability in all our repairs and jewellery we create. The RYA Competent Crew course is aimed at beginners to the world of sailing, with little or no experience, who want to become active crew members rather than just passengers. After the course, you will be able to steer a yacht, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in the day-to-day routines of sailing a yacht as well as rope handling and general duties. To take this course, you must have completed at least 5 days, 100 miles and 4 night hours on board a sailing yacht, and must be 16 or older. 5 Day Sailing Course - £695 RYA Instructor/Student Ratio max 1:5. After this course, you will have the confidence to skipper a yacht on a coastal passage by day or night. Or if completing the Yachtmaster Offshore prep you will arrange with the school to book a RYA Examiner to take the 8/10 hour practical exam soon afterwards. To take this course(Coastal) you will have completed at least 15 days, 300 miles, 8 night hours and 2 days as skipper on board a sailing yacht, and must be 17 for Coastal and 18 for Yachtmaster Offshore for which you will need 2500 miles and three skippered passages over 60 miles plus 50 night hours. 5 Day Sailing Course - £695 RYA Instructor/Student Ratio max 1:5. This course is a requirement for anyone who owns a fixed or handheld marine VHF radio. The Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio. Powdermills Pottery is housed in granite buildings that were once part of a nineteenth century gunpowder factory. It is found in the very centre of Dartmoor National Park in Devon and is part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate. Powdermills is the home and workplace of potter, Joss Hibbs: her range of pottery is sold in The Shop. Cream teas are served in the courtyard in the Summer season, and Throwing Courses are run year-round. The old workshop has been rejuvenated by local charity Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony and now houses the Dartmoor Hill Pony Exhibition, explaining the history and importance of the 'wild' ponies on Dartmoor. Based in Reading (near M4 J12 ) I run a small well equipped workshop and hold classes for between 2-4 people at a time. This means you get plenty of individual attention, you won't have to wait long for any help you need and you will be surprised at the progress you can achieve in just one day. It is a fun day out I can guarantee you will find both satisfying and enjoyable. Art is food for the soul! Full & Half day workshops Take a look at the student gallery below to see some of the inspiring creations made at my workshops. Timings are 10am-4pm weekends and 9.30am-3.30pm weekdays and are priced at £100 per day or £50 for half day (mornings or afternoons, 3 hrs) with all materials and firings included. There is a set limit of glass allowance for workshops which allows me to keep the workshops at a very reasonable price..(extra glass can be purchased if you have time and wish to make more but I find the amount included in the price is usually enough anyway). 200sq cm for the half day= for example two 10x10cm coasters or one piece 12cm x 17cm of a tealight holder 400sq cm for the full day= four 10x10 coasters or a large free standing wave or a smaller wave + 2 x coaster size pieces ...basically, you can use your glass allowance how you wish. Work can be collected or delivered (cost of delivery is £10 per small parcel and £15 per large parcel) I also provide a variety of tea, coffee soft drinks and biscuits throughout the day.(included in the cost of the course) children taking part in half/full day workshops must be accompanied by a paying adult..9+ age is preferable but please let me know if your child is younger so we can discuss needs and suitability.

EAS' training centre was opened to improve upon the lack of options for our industry to get quality training for beginners to time-served engineers. We introduced a non-complicated vision to training with the schemes availiable to EAS to ensure that you are getting the best outcomes in a cost effective manner. Running small groups (1:14 max) EAS can focus more on delivery giving a greater overall experience to learning and development. We have found apprentices respond well to our system of learning which we can manage the group better in terms of development and to stretch/challenge those that are excelling. We promote a mature learning enviroment where everyone works as a team and is included. What else do we do differently? - For appretniceship delivery our commitment to you the employer means by each morning you will emailed to confirm if your apprentice(s) have not attended college. We will review progression with you personally or with a supervisor every 12 weeks so you know exactly what has been delivered, if there are any issues and what needs to happen in the future to help your Apprentice(s) to flurrish. We listen and act upon your concerns and we encouraged you to pop in to the centre for a cup of tea and a chat. Peace of mind for you but also lets your apprentice know we work together. Our results speak for themselves. We are currently running at 97% pass rate for all those who attend EAS, that's way above national benchmarks. You wont hear any complaints from your Apprentices about not having tools or materials thats for sure....... nor will they be taught by the book, nor sent to the library or home as the tutor didnt turn up. EAS has listended to Employers feedback on previously used providers and these points always get raised. EAS promise this will never happen unless something drastic has happened completely out of our control.

If you have access to woodlands and permission to use it then I can offer a more traditional Forest School experience. This will usually be blocks of 5 or 6 sessions for up to 10 children at a time. Each session will last 2 hours and include a drink and snack. Alternative Forest School / PPA Cover This version of Forest School is more structured to allow a whole class to take part. This can be part of your PPA time planning as I only need one LSA for a class of 30 children. Each session lasts for 2 hours and includes a drink and snack. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a large woods – it works on playing fields next to shrubby areas with a few trees and hedges. Pricing I charge £125 per 2-hour session. This includes VAT and all materials and resources used. There may be additional costs for transport if you are not local. Why Me? I am DBS checked, Outdoor First Aid trained and a Qualified Teacher. The Learning Ranger is fully insured, including Public Liability, and activities are Risk Assessed. I will bring everything that’s needed for the activities, apart from any additional adults that are required. Session times and activities are fully flexible and I am always happy to tailor them to your needs. What is Forest School? Forest School is an inspirational process that has been developing in Scandinavian countries since the 1950’s but only made its way over to Britain in the mid 1990’s. Its basic aim is to connect children and adults with nature whilst supporting their social, emotional and physical development. Forest School sessions provide children and adults the opportunity to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning and play. Activities during Forest School sessions may include shelter building, fire lighting, using tools, outdoor cooking, games and self-led discovery.
