A modular "hybrid" venepuncture course - eLearning (online) theory and one full day classroom based course.

PART 1 - THEORY
Complete this part of your course online (eLearning Course) in the comfort of your own home or workplace.
Please allow approx. 5-7 hours to complete this part of your course. You do not need to complete Part 1 in a single "sitting", and can log on/off to complete as and when convenient to you.
 
You should complete Part 1 before attending Part 2 below.
 
PART 2 - CLASSROOM
Attend the second day of our two day course in the classroom at the training location that you have selected.
Your classroom tutor will recap on the theory element (above) after which you will begin your practical sessions learning and developing the skills required up to the point of Live Blood Draws.

This certification for this course is valid for 5 years and is endorsed by Build UK as a standard training for all operatives. The certificate is part of CSCS Green Card requirements.
To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date or have completed an NVQ2 or higher in your skills set.

Lucy Brownridge is Editorial Director at Wide Eyed Editions and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, and formerly Thames & Hudson where she helped to establish the Children’s list. She specialises in highly illustrated picture books and non-fiction (including poetry) for children. She has commissioned and edited books which have gone on to win the Carnegie Awards, The British Book Awards, the Klaus Flugge Prize, the Blue Peter Prize and have been translated into over 30 languages. In January 2024 alone, reports were published about the SRA taking enforcement action against 3 firms and 4 individuals for failure to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. The fines issued for these non-compliances total over £570,000 plus costs. The absence of staff training, or requirement to complete additional training, was noted in a number of these cases.
Action has not only been taken against solicitors, but also other individuals who are not regulated by the SRA, whose breaches were so serious that the SRA felt compelled to take action. 
As all SRA enforcement action, from rebukes to fines, is published by the SRA, the potential financial and reputational impact upon firms may be felt by all staff, regardless of whether they had any direct involvement with the non-compliance.
