Course Prerequisites This course is suitable for those with or without a medical background. It is designed to provide the student with the ability to seek employment or start their own business upon qualification. At a minimum, students will be required to be qualified at least one of the following: Medically qualified as a nurse, doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC, GMC or GDC. This course is combines three individual courses providing the knowledge and technical skills for an aesthetics practitioner to advance their skin skills and career. Our courses are kept intimate with a maximum of 6 learners to a class. Gel Polish is applied to the client’s nail and then cured using an LED or UV lamp to create a longer lasting nail treatment (up to 3 weeks) than a standard manicure. Not only does this treatment keep clients happy due to its long-lasting effects, clients will need to return to the salon to have the gel polish removed, guaranteeing you repeat bookings. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate and a recognised, insurable qualification. All tools/products required for the course will be provided on the day. No take home kit included on this course. Includes: Hard copy take home training manual. Duration – Fast track half day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. Practical day – 3:30pm – 6:45pm.
