Makaton is a world-wide, multi-modal language programme that uses speech, signs and symbols to enable learners to improve on their language and communication skills. The signs are taken from British Sign Language and the symbols have been devised over time to be simple but convey the meaning of a word.
We are a training service that provides Makaton training for schools, colleges, nurseries, healthcare, parents/carers and anyone who is interested in learning Makaton. We are fully licensed Makaton Tutors who are passionate about training as many people as possible in Makaton. For more information please visit our profiles Nicki & Michael

Interested in your employees using the Makaton Language Programme? A good option may be in-house training. In some cases this can be up to 50% cheaper than putting them on individual Makaton courses. We are able to deliver any of our courses In-house in either face to face or online format to your employees. Our primary area is Surrey, South West London and surrounding areas. If you have employees around the country then an online option may be for you! See our list of available courses below
I am Sarah, Mum to two energetic boys. My eldest is my driving force, and the reason I ever started my Makaton journey. I found learning Makaton didn't just interest me but also brought a new calm to my family. Now, that my son was able to communicate better with us the tension and frustration lessened. I recognised how great this accomplishment felt for all of us, and wanted to help others to create that sense of belonging too, so decided to train as a tutor.
