P900 - Maintenance and testing of control measures for domestic hot and cold water systems is there to provide the basis of competence of operatives undertaking the operation and monitoring of domestic hot and cold water systems in buildings. This IMI qualification is designed for technicians who maintain and repair electric/hybrid vehicles. It contains the skills and knowledge required to work safely around the electric/hybrid vehicles high and low voltage electrical system and electric drive train systems, whilst carrying out repairs and maintenance. On completing this qualification, technicians will have gained knowledge of both low and high voltage technologies and an understanding of their dangers. Asbestos awareness training is required to be given to employees whose work could foreseeably expose them to asbestos. In particular, it should be given to all demolition workers and those workers in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades where it is foreseeable that their work will disturb the fabric of the building because asbestos containing materials may become exposed during their work.
