How does in-person training work? Once you place your order, you can access your course content online. We will message you with some training dates to arrange your practical day. We teach Monday to Saturday so we always have many dates to choose from. You will have access to training material online and have to study the content and complete the theoretical part of training before your practical assignment. You will then come to our venue in Leyton E10 6RA where we will spend 2-4 hours learning and practising the Japanese head spa. This One -day class teaches the safe and efficient use of electric filing machines. Electric files can add to the overall professionalism of your service and help reduce the strain on hands, arms, and shoulders. The course is suitable for both the inexperienced electric file user and for the experienced technician. THE REQUIREMENTS Salon attire must be worn during the course. Student must have one (right if you work with right hand) hand with clean nail without enhancements and left hand with nail enhancement which have 2-3 weeks growth for infill/backfill and long hair tied back. To ensure maximum practice, students will be required to work on each other throughout the day or on own hands or practice hand. To attend this course must have 3-month experience working with nails enhancement (Gel or Acrylic) Please bring your own acrylic or gel brush and product, cuticle pusher, nippers and if possible, your own Electric File. In case you do not own any of these you can buy them from us. In this class we will talk about different kinds of wadding and will learn about the quilting together of all the layers with either straight lines or freemotion stitching. Then we will learn to bind our mini quilts (bring the mini quilt tops we created in earlier classes, or bring your own) Wadding and thread all included in the price, as well as a copy of my In Stitches sewing handbook. You will also receive a free walking and free motion foot for your machine! Just let me know when you book what machine you have (this offer does not apply to Bernina feet I'm afraid!)

Learn to sew a child's garment in this long (6 hours ish) day class. I stock the Two Stitches patterns (https://www.twostitchespatterns.com/printed-patterns-1) and one of these is included in your class fee. I also have patterns for quite a few simple baby and toddler garments you can use. Once you ket me know what you want to make and what size I will let you know how much and what kind of fabric you need and what else you need to bring. This is a fairly high paced class so you need to be ok with threading up etc aline and know how to make seams, backstitch etc. The sewing won't be complex but we won't have time to explain how a machine works. If you are not sure please do a beginners or refresher's class first.
