I'm Manus McGrogan, a highly experienced, prize winning, freelance portrait artist. I'm also a writer and teacher, originally from Belfast, now living in Brighton & Hove. My artwork is centred on the human face and figure in varying contexts, and draws on strong technique in line, tone and colour. The styles in my work are broadly realistic (portraiture, life drawing), poster-style (icons and album art), and I love to dabble in surrealist and science fiction imagery. I use a number of media, including graphite pencil, coloured pencils, pastel pencils, pastels, pens, watercolour and acrylic paints.

Hi, I’m Rosie Tweedale, the potter behind Twig Ceramics! Twig Ceramics is all about bringing pottery and nature together. I believe in the importance of having deeper connections to the objects, people and landscapes around us. I’m lucky enough to have a studio surrounded by the woodlands in Sussex, where I walk and forage for plants! I love to be outdoors and connected to the seasons. The natural colours, textures and patterns I notice around me make their way into my work. Based in East Sussex, I handcraft traditional and contemporary basketry using willow, rush and other natural materials. My training was at the City Lit in London (2011-2013), and I have a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Creative Techniques in Textiles (Basketry). Influenced by the patterns, textures and tones that occur in nature, I enjoy exploring non-functional basketry with natural materials foraged near my home. As well as making baskets, I run basketweaving classes for beginners and improvers. I love passing on my passion for this ancient craft. My work has been exhibited in London, Surrey and Sussex.
