I have a professional background in chemistry (degree), biomedical research (PhD) and teaching (PGCE). I love the fact that I can bring all this knowledge and experience together in my tuition and translation business. Although I am no longer working in a lab, I still very much enjoy keeping up with advances in the life sciences. As a translator/editor, I can contribute to spreading knowledge and understanding of this fascinating field, be that to fellow scientists or to the general public. I believe that my understanding of life sciences, medicine and teaching makes me a better translator and that my translations benefits from the intensive work on maths, biology and chemistry that is part of my tutor role. About my business I established my business in 2012. I translate and edit documents in the fields of life sciences and medicine. In addition, I tutor up to fifteen students each year; many of them staying with me for several years as I support them up to their exams.
