I believe in a feminine approach to yoga. I love to honour our intuitive feminine wisdom and our cyclic nature. I recognise my body and energy changes throughout each month and my own practice reflects this. I know sometimes what we need most is deep relaxation, a chance to destress, slow down, go inwards with mindful movement, breath-work and meditation… and other times we feel energised, playful, want to blow off steam with an empowering flow, have fun, find our edge and not take life too seriously. I aspire to guide students through a safe and fun practice, offering variations to honour your body (or whatever chaos the moon is causing!) striving to cultivate a feeling of relaxed bliss and calm upon completion of a class, whether online or In-person in Crawley Down, West Sussex.
The Rhythm Studio is a music academy where students are inspired to develop their musical talents while learning to play and produce the music that they love. Our community of young musicians form bands, write and produce their own music, and perform at live gigs throughout the year. Our music school in West London is the home of full-time music courses for sixth form students, after-school and weekend classes, and school holiday camps.
hildren join Gems Performing Arts as they enjoy performing and want to learn new skills, but more importantly, to shake off their shy tendencies, to grow in confidence and to interact with other children. We care about each Gem and love to watch them grow in confidence in a supportive environment. We aim to have a personal relationship with all children, teachers and parents to ensure that we can provide feedback to help towards the development of your child.
Thanks for taking the trouble to find out about my music school! Let me tell you about it… We take students at any level, whatever your goals are – be it just wanting to play around the campfire, jamming at your local pub, playing local gigs or touring the world! We’ve made it happen for all these aspirations! I had the idea of founding a music school when giving lessons to drum students – I love imparting knowledge and skills and seeing them progress – it’s my passion. I previously taught privately and at other establishments and enjoyed encouraging students to discover the joy of playing and developing enthusiasm for music as a whole. The music teachers at G.O.T. have been carefully selected with these values in mind and all have a similar attitude to mine when it comes to music. Our school’s motto is: “We love music; we love teaching.” and all our music teachers are very passionate about music as of course am I. Our music tutors are drawn from a mixture of professionals, with varied experience in both the teaching and performance fields. Your teacher will be able to relate to students with any level of experience and see just what is required in each individual situation, from the classroom, to the stage, to the recording studio. From beginners to intermediates, from established professional musicians to singers, the school’s main objective is to enhance your ability and performance. We endeavour to make your music learning process an enjoyable and memorable experience which will enthuse you. Please take a look around our website for a better insight into the kind of experience you will have with us. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Reiko was born in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. She grew up in a traditional Japanese family with a food-fanatic mother who has shaped her love of Japanese cooking today. After studying English Literature at university, Reiko started work as an air hostess and was based in Hong Kong, a foodie’s paradise. Travelling around the world with her airline broadened Reiko’s interest in food from all corners of the globe and so she decided to make a change and began a career teaching Japanese cuisine to foreign friends living in Japan.
