The Bishop's Palace, Wells, SomersetThe site and buildings of The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens is owned by the Church Commissioners and operated by The Palace Trust, a registered charity which manages the site as a heritage visitor attraction. Our Purpose As stewards of this beautiful and historic place, our primary purpose is “to conserve The Bishop’s Palace and its story as a place of enjoyment and reflection for the benefit of all”. Our Vision To inspire and touch the lives of many by offering joy, healing, hope and wellbeing. Our Legacy The Palace Trust gets no statutory funding. The cost of maintaining the Palace is met entirely by grants from organisations like the National Lottery and Charitable Trusts, by Admission tickets, special events and our café. But this does not cover the entire cost of everyday maintenance, so donations to this aspect of our work are also always welcome. Likewise, the cost of conservation work cannot be met by admission fees etc. so we rely on voluntary donations to finance this aspect of our work. The annual costs vary between £400,000 and £500,000. So, this is an area where we welcome donations – large or small, regular or one-off – to enable us to carry out this vital work. 42 Acres was first conceived in 2015 by siblings Lara and Seth Tabatznik as a home for personal, social and environmental change after having been deeply inspired number of powerful personal retreats and workshops in their own lives. Including processes such as the Hoffman Process, Satori, Non-Violent communication workshops as well as working with plant medicines. Both Seth and Lara are strong advocates that outer change in the world starts with the self, or to quote Gandhi; “Be the change that you wish to see in the world”.‍ At its core, 42 Acres continues to invite people to reconnect with nature, self and others but has now grown to offer so much more including a range of wellbeing and nature based experiences and events, a biodynamic farm and an abundant nature reserve.

Welcome to the Elite Beauty Academy, my name is Wendy Jessop and I have provided training in Weston Super Mare since October 2007.  Students often tell me how they find it difficult to choose a training provider that will offer them the best options for their individual needs. Here at Elite, we pride ourselves on taking the time to prepare an individual programme ensuring students are on the correct course.  This will provide them with the maximum potential for achieving their goals. Along with a free initial consultation, we offer ongoing support, particularly after the course is finished to make sure students are confident to work with clients. Lots of people who would like to train often think they may be too old to start a new career - you are never too old is the answer! I have trained both male and female clients ranging from 14 - 83, one lady in particular began her training in her mid 60's and she still has a regular bank of clients, this was over 10 years ago. The tutors here are not only therapists who show you how to give a treatment, we have years of experience within the Industry. Our courses follow the National Occupational Standards (NOS), giving the student the most relevant professional training.  We are all PGCE qualified, experienced assessors, verifiers and examiners and have spent many years teaching in Further Education. We are very proud to have provided training to owners and their staff of many salons as well as college lecturers wishing to add to their skills. Hi, I am both a qualified commercial and domestic heating engineer with 40 years experience in the field. I set up an independent heating design consultancy in 2014 after designing & installing plant rooms & systems for most of my career ( www.robberridge.co.uk ) and am now fully engaged with this and my heat calculation software company with two other directors. After coming off the tools for some six years now and designing many plant rooms and systems for my new clients, I bring a unique perspective that bridges the often large gap between installation engineers and architects/building services engineers. Offering fully scaled CAD drawings, specifications and tender documents that all parties fully understand has kept me really busy and my life, 'interesting'. I also offer training courses in building heat loss, system calculation and specification to which I partner with IMI-Hydronics.
