I am a lettering artist and graphic designer who creates brand identities, e-commerce websites, hand lettered logos, as well as large scale lettering work such as chalkboard menus, signs and shop windows. I worked for 8 years as an in-house graphic designer for international fashion and beauty brand Mary Quant, where I played an active part in the company’s transition from physical stores to digital, and had the chance to work on a wide variety of projects from conception to finish, as the only designer in the team. I now help small businesses in the UK stand out and connect with their audience through recognisable brand visuals and hand drawn typography. Most of my clients are coffee and food businesses, artists and makers who are passionate about their craft and want their unique brand personality to shine. I love sharing my creative skills: I teach hand lettering workshops in various locations in London, and work with CIC’s to deliver lettering, typography and graphic design workshops for young people. I am a maker myself and run a product business called The Alternative Type, where I create and sell hand lettered goods inspired by my love of alternative music and goth aesthetic.

So what’s that name about then? Well, The Mighty Mindcircus came from a time in my life where I was governed by a flighty, circus-like brain (most of my life). Full of ideas and imagination, all of the time - it was exhausting. Now I’ve worked on channeling that mental energy into my work. Painting and lettering brings me calm and grounding in an otherwise wild world, and I’m here to share it all with you!
