Coach’s Chris and Lara were living in Ealing, West London when they spotted a gap in the market for activities for young people aged 18 months – 12 years. They have developed Footy Fun 4 Kids sessions as a way of developing young people in all aspects of life. Football as the tool, allows their coaches to work closely with the young participants at developing confidence, social skills and independence, whilst increasing physical exercise and, of course, learning new football skills! A high percentage of young people are excluded from the game at a very young age due to a number of factors. Footy Fun 4 Kids activities welcomes all young people to the game and nurtures their inner footballer. We give your child a positive introduction to football, coaching high quality football skills in a friendly, fun and learning environment. I founded Mind Tools for Kids as I wanted to create a safe, accessible space for parents and their children to get the help, support and expertise they need. Every child deserves happiness, confidence and self-belief. The tools and strategies are simple, fun, easy to learn and more importantly they work! I love to see the transformation in the families I work with. I have won awards for my work, supported the world-renowned Paul McKenna and have made it my mission to continually learn, challenge and develop myself. I am a qualified NLP Trainer and Coach. I have trained with the best, completing many hundreds of hours’ study in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I am a certified Empowering Learning Coach and have also completed training in Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Coaching, Psycho-Neuro Immunology and Mindfulness techniques. My greatest learnings and discoveries in my life have definitely come from being a parent. Nothing could prepare me for the rollercoaster of absolute love, joy, concern, guilt and worry that comes from being a mum. It can be exhausting! Touch Typing is an essential life skill and we find that children who learn accurately to literally type without looking at their fingers, will save time in producing homework and in exams etc. As experienced Specialist Teachers, we are able to effectively differentiate and individualise touch typing challenges so that all students achieve their potential. Multi-sensory learning, through games and incentives, create a brilliantly fun atmosphere in which children aged 7 upwards, thrive! We have children who want to learn good basic typing skills and those who need this skill in order to type for GCSEs, and A Level exams. Note taking, punctuation skills and real time typing under pressure are also explored with the advanced students. An encouraging, motivating and uplifting environment is created in which children of all learning abilities thrive. We specialise in helping children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia and hypermobility as well as for those just want to learn it as a life skill, or for application towards the skill section of the DofE levels. Our testimonies tell of children literally loving the courses to such an extent, that they often come back time and time again, bringing their siblings and friends for follow up courses!
