Whether by providing production support through equipment loans, post-production facilities, or meeting spaces or whether through workshops with industry leaders from companies like Channel 4, The Unit has a goal of helping to carve pathways to employment in the creative industries for users of the space. The Unit is aiming to provide full-service editing bays and high quality production equipment by September, We do currently provide meeting and screening areas for self-scheduled events as well as The Unit's own programme of events and workshops. The Unit will be based for the first six months in the Impact Hub Bradford, which is in Little Germany at the Design Exchange 34 Peckover St, Bradford, BD1 5BD

We’re both creatives, working in the industry and between us we have more than 15 years experience working in various creative roles and on countless design projects. We both graduated from the Printed Textiles course at Leeds Arts University and have been working alongside each other since 2019. We’ve started still studio this year to create an accessible space for creatives wanting to host workshops and small events in Leeds city centre. We know the barriers that artists can face and we wanted to break some of those down and introduce a space dedicated to the needs of creatives in Leeds and beyond!

Suzanne started performing in the entertainment industry in the year 2000, started hosting events and themed workshops in 2005 and has produced and directed bespoke events and educational projects for many organisations, attractions and occasions. In 2019, Suzanne became a qualified Mindfulness for Children Coach and a Rainbow Yoga trained children’s & families yoga teacher in preparation for the opening of Enchantica’s Workshop yoga and well-being studio in Harrogate, where she delivers children’s yoga and mindfulness classes with co-star Beatie. From global and nationwide events to intimate celebrations and school workshops, Suzanne and her magical team of talented passionate performers and artists have created and performed a rainbow of magic for all ages to enjoy.

ndate Systems Ltd was formed in 1991, initially providing Written Schemes of Examination (WSE), and helping companies to comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) set out by the Health and Safety Executive(HSE). Major expansion from 2000 enabled Mandate to take advantage of a gap in the market and progress to providing a full comprehensive solution for the pressure industry including consultation, auditing, technical manuals, statutory Pressure System examinations and training. From 2000 technological developments were made by moving away from paper to CD manuals, followed by progressing to emails in 2003, and online documentation by 2005. With over 25 years experience in compressed air, we have used our vast knowledge to be the frontrunner in new technologies, most recently moving reports from paper based to the cloud; Since 2017 all of the reports and documents produced by Mandate are now held in an innovative cloud-based system, streamlining and expediting the whole process. We have recently been thrilled to bring to the market PressureSafe – a new concept that is revolutionising the industry. Over time we have assisted over 5000 customers with PSSR and produced over 9000 Technical Pressure System Safety Manuals, including Written Schemes of Examination (WSE). With a multitude of customers ranging from the Ministry of Defence, Blue Chip PLC’s, and the Emergency services to small garages and dentists, we comprehensively produce WSE’s and carrying out legal examinations on many gases, mixed gas, compressed air and steam systems varying from 0.5bar +.
