One afternoon, we were enjoying a day out in the sunshine and had stopped to feed our daughter of 7 months, she’s just started solid food and we’d been giving her sliced banana to chew on. On this particular day, she inhaled a small piece and began to choke. I quickly remembered Martin’s words, put her in the proper hold, bottom in the air and one forceful strike between her shoulder blades dislodged the banana and although she was shocked, she was able to breathe again and I can’t tell you how relieved we felt! Aims
Participants will undertake a concise yet equally engaging training program covering all essential aspects of enforcing health and safety codes of practice at construction sites. Topics include in-depth discussions on risk assessments and effective methods for monitoring and managing industry-specific hazards.
