The CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme course is designed for delegates who have previously passed the full Site management safety training scheme (SMSTS) course or subsequent refresher course, and can provide proof of attendance. It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up-to-date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The course provides an opportunity to revisit the wide range of topics from the previous five-day course.

Entry requirements
The refresher course is only for delegates who have previously passed the five-day SMSTS or subsequent refresher course, and hold a valid SMSTS certificate. Evidence must be provided to the training provider of their eligibility.

Assessment
Successful completion of the course requires the delegate to pass an exam paper at the end of the course. 

The paper consists of 25 questions, selected by CITB, covering all aspects of the course. The exam paper must be taken at the end of the course. 
Each paper has: 
• 18 multiple choice questions (each worth one mark) 
• 7 questions in multi-response or short written answer format (each worth two marks)

The exam pass mark is 81% (26 out of 32). The exam lasts for 35 minutes and must be completed within this time under exam conditions. Delegates are permitted to use the Construction site safety - The comprehensive guide (GE700) publication for the last 15 minutes of the exam.

This is a two-day course. Delegates are required to complete the full course (15 hours) to be eligible for certification.

The delegate must answer all four of these questions correctly to pass the exam. The multiple choice questions are worth 1 point each, whereas written questions can score between 1-3 marks. 

The exam paper forms the basis of assessment of whether or not a delegate has successfully achieved a satisfactory level of understanding to be awarded the Site supervision safety training scheme refresher (SSSTS-R) certificate. The examination lasts for 30 minutes and must be completed within this time. Delegates are permitted to use the Construction site supervision (GE706) publication for the last ten minutes of the examination period.

It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce. 

Entry requirements
Delegates should hold, or be about to hold, the role of a supervisor. Delegates must be competent in English at site supervisor level. 

Assessment
Assessment will be by an end of course examination and the trainer review. 

The examination paper is compulsory and consists of 25 questions, selected by CITB, covering all aspects of the course. The examination pass mark is 80% (24 out of 30). The paper consists of 22 multiple choice questions and three short written questions. There are four safety critical questions in each exam paper. Delegates will need to pass all three elements of the trainer review to gain a pass.

There are no formal entry requirements. However, delegates should hold, or be about to hold, the role of a TWC.

Assessment
Assessment will be by a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course. Delegates will also be expected to interact and participate during the course.

As the sun travels out of Leo into Virgo the energy of creation is heightened with the auspicious presence of the Royal Star Regulus. An ideal time to focus on calling in your highest timeline and attracting what your heart desires. Further anchoring heart energy within and without.

This will be an energy activation and will include a transmission and/or connection to the Dragons. We will come together online and get those energies moving. 

What’s an energy activation? An energy activation is a reawakening of part or parts of your Divine blueprint. It has the capacity to create lasting change, by removing blocks, habits, patterns or stagnancy that are ready to go! 

This particular activation will most likely use a blend of guided meditation, channelling and light language, to bypass the conscious mind, as I am guided during our time together.

A TWO DAY venepuncture course at Level 3. Trains up to the point of live blood draws.

On completion awards a Nationally Recognised and Accredited Certificate in Phlebotomy.

DAY ONE (PART 1) - THEORY
Attend the course location of your choice – starts at 9.30am and finishes approx. 5.00pm

DAY TWO (PART 2) - CLASSROOM
Your classroom tutor will recap on the theory element (above) after which you will begin your practical sessions learning and developing the skills required up to the point of Live Blood Draws.

GEOPACE LIVE BLOOD SESSIONS enabling you to draw human blood under 1-to-1 supervision of your tutor. You will follow a Competency Checklist, signed off by your tutor on completion.

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

OR -

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 each) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

Please note - Competency Training
Our Route to Competency Masterclass - Live Blood Sessions can only be completed in a classroom environment. This is included when you book a classroom option. When booking the virtual classroom option you can choose to add this at time of booking. You will receive a voucher code to enable you to book onto any upcoming dates or locations. For most of our two day course we run our competency training at the end of the second day and therefore you should be able to complete your full training programme with us over two days.

We take a look at all essential equipment required for PIVC.
8 - PRACTICAL SESSIONS:
Multiple practical sessions throughout the session.
