F Gas Regulations training courses are designed for both experienced air-conditioning and refrigeration engineers and also candidates who are looking to cross train and gain qualifications in the air conditioning / refrigeration sector. This F Gas regulations qualification is to meet the legal requirements of EC Regulation 842/2006 (commonly known as the F Gas Regulations). The Certification Schemes are designed for operatives who install, service and repair refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems, and require the following skills: Safe handling of refrigerant techniques Pipework and Jointing skills Recovery of Refrigerants (restricted to small systems only) Intrusive and non-intrusive leak and performance checking Category 1 covers all aspects of installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, recovery and leak checking on all refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation EC842/2006, regardless of the weight of refrigerant in the system. Vaccination / Injection Course (GPT601)

Master plant tinctures are sacred, natural extracts derived from powerful Amazonian plants, each carrying unique healing properties.

Instructions:
1. Dosage & Absorption
Empty Stomach for Optimal Absorption: Take your tincture on an empty stomach, ideally at least 30 minutes before eating or 2 hours after your last meal. This enhances absorption and allows the plant’s energy to work more directly. You may want to start with a 5 drops a day working up depending on your sensitivity (up to a maximum of 20 drops per day) 
Sublingual Method (Under the Tongue): Place the recommended number of drops directly under your tongue and hold them there for about 1-2 minutes before swallowing. This method allows the plant’s essence to enter your bloodstream more quickly and efficiently.
Swallowing & Following with Water: If needed, you can follow with a sip of water or herbal tea, but avoid strong flavours that might interfere with the plant’s subtle energy.
2. Dietary Considerations
Avoid heavy, overly processed, or highly stimulating foods (e.g., caffeine, sugar, alcohol, or spicy foods) before and after taking the tincture, as they may interfere with the plant’s effects.

PART 2 - Skills and Practical Development:
Safely and competently set up and maintain a Peripheral IV Infusion.

PART 1 - THEORY (ONLINE)
M1 - Peripheral IV Cannulation - Introduction:
Definitions - understanding terminology relating to PIVC.
IV Therapy and NMC guidelines.
M2 - Legal & Professional Responsibilities:
Legal Obligations and Accountability. Criminal, Civil and
Contractual law in Healthcare. Vicarious Liability and your
Duty of Care.
M3 - Anatomy & Physiology:
Sites appropriate to IV cannulation. Hand vs. arm.
Advantages and disadvantages of relevant veins.
An overview of Homeostasis and Fluid Balance.
M4 - Hygiene and Infection Prevention & Control (IPC):
Reducing healthcare-associated infections. Keeping Safe.
Bloodborne Pathogens and Work Practice Controls.
Standard Precautions. Waste Disposal. Needle-stick injuries.
M5 - Indications and Advantages:
When to cannulate, infusion types and benefits over
alternative infusion routes. Continuous and intermittent infusion.
Prophylactic use before procedures and in unstable patients.
Contraindications.
M6 - Equipment:
Cannula types, sizes and colour coding. How to select
appropriate size. Equipment overview for total procedure.
M7 - Vein Choice for Cannulation:
Correct vein selection. Which veins to avoid.
How to manage an unsuccessful cannulation.
M8 - Procedures:
Full procedure for cannulation including correct documentation.
M8: Guide to Cannulation - revision

M9 - Contraindications:
When inappropriate to cannulate including patients with specific health conditions.
M10 - Complications:
A detailed look at potential complications during and after
cannulation, including phlebitis, infections, petechiae and haematomas. Clinical signs and corrective actions.

PART 2 (CLASSROOM:
1 - Welcome, introductions and overview:
Classroom - registration and introductions.
Virtual Classroom - audio/visual checks and registration.
2 - Legal & Professional Responsibilities:
Overview and discussion.
3 - Anatomy - key points (appropriate to PIVC):
Arteries and veins. Selecting an approprate site. Sites to avoid and “first choice” sites.
4 - Cannulae - selection and types:
A detailed look at different types of cannulas, respective benefits and attributes. Selectinng an appropriate pVAD.
5 - Complications:
Complications of pVAD insertion including examples of
infiltration, haematoma, extravasation and transfixation.
6 - VIP Score:
Understanding and using the Visual Infusion Phlebitis score.
7 - Equipment - overview:
We take a look at all essential equipment required for PIVC.
8 - PRACTICAL SESSIONS:
Multiple practical sessions throughout the session.
9 - Fluids:
The importance of understanding fluids. Includes detailed overview of: maintenance fluids, Hartmann’s solution, Colloids (and risks), blood products.
10 - Infusion Rates:
Calculating infusion rates and drops per minute.
