REFERENCE CODE 601/2998/0 COURSE LEVEL NVQ Level 2 THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN Course Overview This qualification is aimed at those who have responsibility for carrying out Building Maintenance work in the workplace. Because of the wide range of Construction related maintenance work it is not expected that all candidates will carry out the same activities; the qualification is structured to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available. There are 6 pathways to cover a range of maintenance tasks that come under the following broad headings; Carpentry and Joinery, Painting and Decorating, , Tiling, Plastering, Roofing and Trowel Operations. Candidates must complete at least 2 of these pathways. All work must be completed following Industry recognised Safe Working Practices and in accordance with relevant legislation. This qualification is at Level 2, although some units may be at different levels and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, although some qualifications may have units at different levels, and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job. Candidates for this qualification will primarily be: Working on customer’s premises, removing and installing fascias, soffits and bargeboards Candidates could have jobs entitled: FSB Fitter or FSB Installer

We supply Fire Marshal, Warden, Awareness training at your location and tailor it to your work sector, as such your staff will have no travelling or subsistence expenses minimising disruption for your organisation. Our trainer will bring all materials so you only need to provide a room with a plug socket. There is a practical element with extinguishers outside using our propane burners, which are fully insured and environmentally friendly. We require approximately 4 car parking spaces for this, if you do not have enough space we provide extinguisher discharge only.   The training is accredited by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, all attendees will receive individual Electronic Certificates and our Fire Warden Quick Guide, in addition a Group Certificate will be sent with all names on for audit purposes and your central records.

The Night Rating can be added to a PPL or LAPL, once completed, the rating permits you to fly at night under certain conditions. Once started, the rating must be completed in 6 months, from the start date. Take to the night skies and enjoy a total different and unique flying experience. The course requires a minimum of 30 hours flying time – including 6 hours solo – ending with a skills test with an examiner. The skills test will examine your general handling and navigation skills. In real terms most pilots will require between 40-50 hours of training – Aerohire are open and honest and unlike other schools we believe in being transparrent from the outset.
