Suitable for people of all levels of experience; from those who are new to watercolour painting, to more experienced artist, this foundational course in watercolour painting, unites primary techniques so that you can expand your creativity in one coherent approach. This fully guided course covers topics such as: · Seeing shape: Translating three-dimensional objects into simple shapes before painting. · Mark Making: Exploring different types of marks and developing good brush control. · Understanding Basic Techniques: Learning fundamental techniques such as creating washes, wet-on-wet, wet -on-dry, glazing, lifting, and blending. · Colour Mixing: Learning how to mix colours to create a wide range of hues and values. · Composition: Exploring the principals of composition and design to create visually interesting drawings. · Subject Matter Exploration: Experimenting with different subjects such as still life and flowers. A series of hourly small group sessions where we look at different aspects of Excel Duration: 1 hr sessions Alternatively, we can do you one-to-one sessions, either via virtual classroom or in person at our training course. These are £30 per hour, or £125 for 5-hour blocks.
This course provides the delegate with the theoretical and practical skills to undertake non-licensed works with ACM's. Persons requiring this type of training would include trade operatives undertaking tasks with ACM's as defined in HSG210 and in accordance with CAR 2012 Reg 3(2). In addition to the Asbestos Awareness, those employees whose work will knowingly disturb ACMs, and which is defined as non-licensable work or NNLW, should receive additional task-specific information, instruction and training.

PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance Standard for Organisations) is a quality standard designed for the voluntary and community sector. Organisations can choose to use the criteria as a self-assessment tool or can go on to external accreditation and gain the Quality Mark at one of three levels, all of which are recognised and approved by the Charity Commission. This half day course provides an excellent introduction to this quality standard, which is now used by some statutory authorities as a pre-requisite for funding.
