website from 8.30am each week day (excluding bank holidays) at
www.tameside.gov.uk All our libraries have staffed hours during the week to
assist customers with face to face council enquiries, please check your local
libraries staffed hours on our website at Library Contacts, Hours and Services
(tameside.gov.uk) here you will be able to pay all your council bills by
credit/debit card or by cheque and have your documents verified for Housing
Benefit purposes. Library staff can also provide information on Council
Services. No appointment is required for services at the library. If you have
difficulties accessing any of the services above, or require in depth specialist
advice on Housing Benefit and Council Tax issues including help to make a claim,
our Customer Service team is available. To access the service an appointment is
required and these will take place either by telephone or face to face.
