Most of our 220 students study A-Levels, GCSEs or one of our International Foundation Programme pathways. We also offer a unique alternative to A-Levels called the Combined Studies Programme which provides an alternative pathway to UK Universities for British Students. Another exciting and popular programme of study is the Academic Studies with Football or Basketball Training, which offers the students the opportunity to combine GCSE, A-Level or the International Foundation Programme study with their passion for sport. The idea of The Nile Language School came from Egyptian families hoping to teach their children the Arabic language the same way as we learn in our home countries with the integration of English culture and language. Our children are deprived of the ability to learn the Arabic language once a week for two hours which is not enough for them to become fluent in the language. Additionally, parents at home may not have time to practise the language with their children; the lack of experience can lead to children feeling unmotivated to learn Arabic. We are planning to take the students on an educational trip in the near future to consolidate their knowledge by completing different activities; visiting museums to link English and Arabic culture together. Due to the pandemic we was able to provide lessons online due to the inability to conduct face-to-face lessons. This received many positive comments we will continue to give the option of online lesson whilst also providing the option of face-to-face lessons. This means students from all around the UK can join classes. We are based in Manchester but our school teach students from all different in the UK and outside of the UK. We provide lessons begging from Reception to A-level as we are a qualified centre to give GCSE and A-Level qualifications. We also teach Arabic for non-native speakers. We teach the Egyptian syllabus and welcome all backgrounds to join our school.

My name is Jess Hindley and I'm a Fitness, Dance Performance and Mindset Coach from Manchester in the UK. I am a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant, with experience teaching both online and in-person workshops with clients from all over the world. My passion for fitness and mindset stems from my journey through the world of Irish dance where I competed for 20 years from the age of 6 to 26, then went on to perform professionally with the World-renowned show Riverdance. My dreams as a young dancer were always to become a World Champion and to perform with Riverdance. There were many times when I thought my dreams were not in reach, and it was only with the help of incredible teachers and mindset coaches that I found the confidence to believe in myself as a dancer and a person. After 19 years, I was finally crowned World Champion in 2018 and in the same year performed with Riverdance for Pope Francis at Croke Park in front of 80,000 people. Since then I retained my World title in 2019 and went on to perform with Riverdance in Singapore, Ireland and the UK before our 25th anniversary tour was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Like many people, I found navigating the pandemic very difficult but turned to my passion for fitness for a new goal to strive for. After many cancelled practical sessions and challenges relating to Covid-19, I was so excited to qualify as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant in early 2022. My goal is to pass on everything I've learned both through my qualifications and my many years experience in a competitive and professional dance setting. I hope I can make a difference to my clients' lives just as my teachers and mentors did for me.

The Manchester Chinese Education Cultural Community Centre was established in 1979. There are 4 sections: Chinese Music, Martial Arts, Culture and The Chinese School. We have performed Chinese Music, Martial Arts, and Cultural plays and dances to the public many times. We are a non-profit making, non-political and non-religious body. The number of our pupils has been increasing steadily to over 300. In 1998 our school registered as a GCSE and GCE A-level examinations centre. Our school is governed by the school committee and managed by the headmistress and staff. All are volunteers. We depend on fees, fund-raising, donations and grants to finance our school. We aim to provide an opportunity to anybody who wishes to study Chinese Language, Culture, Geography and History, enabling them to appreciate our motto: "Chinese moral righteousness and manners". We also invite specialist artists from the UK and abroad to demonstrate Chinese Music, Arts and Crafts to stimulate the pupil's interest in Chinese Culture. On behalf of the centre committee I would like to thank you for your support and generous donations. We are very grateful to the headmistress and staff for sacrificing their valuable time to run the school. We would also like to praise and encourage our pupils in their excellent work.
